Ravens POV
The day flew by, and now it's Monday, signaling the start of the highly anticipated Novice Taika Clash.
Everyone was buzzing with excitement and anticipation, and no one wanted to miss this event. The clash was being telecast live, and there were no classes at any level, which meant that everyone could watch it without any hindrance.
The clash was such a big deal that even the big names were eagerly waiting to watch it. It was a spectacle, and everyone wanted to see which house will emerge victorious.
To show solidarity and unity, we all wore cloaks with a spade design. The design held a significant meaning, with a black cloak and gold spade logo on the back and a smaller version on the left side of the chest. As a first-year competitor, I wore my army green color power suit instead of the black one reserved for captains and vice-captains.
In every game like this, it's a rule that we wear our House Cloak, which made me feel proud and united with my team. I felt great in it, even with the dark makeup that Ivy insisted we wear. She said it would enhance our looks, and she was right. Even the boys wore light makeup to look their best.
We are standing in front of a double door with a spade design, which is the entrance to one of the houses. Our senior housemates have already taken their places inside, and we can hear shouting from outside. There are also special VIP seats reserved for outside viewers.
Despite there being only ten of us participating, we are determined to be part of the experience. We'll do our best to find a spot and enjoy the event.
As we listen to the sounds coming from outside, we can hear Headmistress Balanon speaking. She's welcoming everyone to the event and setting the stage for what's to come.
After a while, we also hear Housemaster Ian and Fab join in as commentators for the event. It's clear that they are excited to be part of the action and to share their insights with the audience.
"Guys, tandaan niyo ang bilin ko at isa pa walang uuwing talunan sapagkat ang talo ay?!" saad ko sakanila at tiningan isa isa.
"Isang linggong magiging punching bag!" Sabay sabay na sagot nila.
Housemaster Fab and Professor Ian were standing in front of the school's dome, waiting for the annual Novice Taika Clash to begin. The atmosphere was electric as students from all four houses - Diamonds, Hearts, Spades, and Clubs - filled the dome, buzzing with excitement.
"Okay, let's all welcome our reigning champion for the past few years!" exclaimed Housemaster Fab with happy, strong, and friendly words.
"The House of Diamonds!" both shouted in unison.
The Diamonds made their way into the dome with confident smiles and proud expressions. They had won the championship for the past years and were determined to keep their winning streak alive.
"It looks like the guys are walking confidently, and it seems like they will be champions again," commented Professor Fab.
"Maybe, but will the next house allow that?!" asked Professor Ian, which drew a shout.
"Let's not forget that they almost stole the crown last year. Let me hear your cheer for the House of Clubs!" Professor Ian shouted.
Just like before, the shouting was also loud. The House of Clubs made their way into the dome, pumped up and ready to give the Diamonds a run for their money. The dome vibrated with the energy of the students, cheering and shouting for their houses.
