As the sun rises on a brand new morning, it marks the start of a new day for everyone. For those who have been students before, this may seem like just another ordinary day.
However, for the new students at New Leaf Academy, it's a different feeling altogether.
It's already 6:30 in the morning, and the campus is buzzing with activity as everyone gets ready for their classes.
This year, the first day of class falls on a Tuesday, which is a general class day. This means that students from different houses will be attending classes together.
On Monday, the day before the official start of classes, students participated in orientation and had the opportunity to mingle with their respective houses.
This helps them get to know their fellow students before the general classes begin on Tuesday and Thursday.
Although the yearly orientation is intended for freshmen only, this year things have changed.
Now, students in their second year and above are also participating in the orientation activities.
On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, students attend subject classes, just like any other student would.
Tuesdays and Thursdays are reserved for physical education classes, which help students stay fit and healthy. Training for our awaken ability and anything related to hone our skills.
Overall, the first day of class at New Leaf Academy is an exciting and busy time for everyone. It marks the start of a new journey for the new students, and a continuation of the learning journey for those who are returning.
The academy has implemented a strict policy that mandates all students to congregate at the dining hall by 7:30 AM sharp.
The policy has been put in place to ensure that every student has access to healthy and nutritious meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, served in a communal setting.
By sharing meals together, students are encouraged to build strong bonds and a sense of community, which is critical for their personal development and well-being.
The academy's administration has emphasized the importance of this policy and expects all students to comply with it.
Therefore, every student is required to be present at the designated time and place to partake in the meals provided.
As the students were engrossed in their class preparations,
the headmistress and the captains of the various houses gathered inside the office for an important discussion.
Among them was Raven, the new student who had recently joined the school. The group was engaged in a serious conversation.
They discussed the upcoming day when Raven will try to become the captain. They agreed to hold the match on Friday, so that everyone, including the Chief of the school, can watch. They also chose Friday to give the two competitors two days of rest before classes resume.

Raven's POV
Today, I had a meeting with the headmistress and the captains of our team. Captain Ash and I were discussing the day we would fight.
However, I was asked to leave the meeting early because the headmistress and the captains had something else to discuss.
Even though I was curious about what they were discussing, I didn't want to intrude on their privacy.
