Ravens POV
Our training program has now reached its fourth day, and the week's schedule has been specially tailored to prepare us for an upcoming match.
The general class has been temporarily suspended this week to allow us ample time to focus on our individual preparations. We are grateful for this arrangement as it has given us more time to hone our skills.
Over the past few days, we have been engaged in rigorous training sessions, focusing on building our endurance, hand-to-hand combat skills, and expertise in using different kinds of weapons.
We have pushed ourselves to the limit by incorporating weights and sandbags during our drills, with a weight of 50 kilograms attached to our hands and feet.
While the first day was undoubtedly challenging for some of us, everyone has since adjusted to the intensity of the training program. Our morning routine begins with 25 kilograms, so the transition to the heavier weights was not too difficult.
We have been working hard, sweating it out and pushing ourselves to be better, faster, and stronger.
We are committed to giving our best in the upcoming match, and every day of training takes us one step closer to achieving that goal. Getting those championship titles back.
Ivy and the other members with healing abilities are practicing in the garden today. They recently participated in training from Monday until yesterday.
Now, the remaining members who are eligible to participate in the game will battle it out and the winner will represent our house.
You may be curious about how the members are selected for the game. Well, according to the headmistress, all first-year students who are not healers are allowed to participate.
However, Housemaster Ian, Ash, and I had a meeting to discuss this, and we decided to reduce the number of participants from 20 to 10.
We shared this decision with our members, and everyone agreed to it.
We believe that this will give us a better chance of winning the game. We are all looking forward to the upcoming battle, and we hope that our representative will do well and bring glory to our house.
During a conversation with Housemaster Ian, he expressed his belief that in order to succeed in any game, one must be the fittest and strongest.
Although the game changes every year, the principle of survival of the fittest remains the same. As a result, Housemaster Ian suggested that only the best candidates should be permitted to join our house, a proposal that was agreed upon by everyone.
This strategy, he explained, increases our chances of securing the top position in any game. While we value other houses, we are eager to find out which ten lucky individuals will be joining us. The anticipation is palpable, and I am thrilled to be part of this battle.
Housemaster Ian has promised to grant the wish of whoever defeats me, but I am confident that I will emerge victorious. So, to whoever my opponent is, I apologize in advance, but this is not your day. I am ready to give it my all and test my skills against the best.
"Okay, gather students, pick a piece of paper, and keep it to yourself. Inside it is a number that corresponds to your battle accordingly. Also, your opponent, yes, whoever picks the same number with your holding inside that paper, would be your opponent—no more questions. I'll give you 5 minutes to see your number, to relax and meditate before we start, so calm your tits; noobs got that!? Now move!!" Housemaster Ian said with a little bit of yellin'
