(Y/n)'s POV

I yawned a bit as I stretched. "That was tiring, huh Axel?" I asked my pet wolf. He howled in delight.

I laughed. "I mean look at this!" I said as I raised the bag of money we got protecting a village from demons.

Oh let me fill you in a bit, Ace. My pet wolf, I saved him a few weeks ago. And apparently he was left alone in the cold woods, he had an injured paw. I tried to take him in but he almost bit off my hand. Luckily, he likes meat, I gave him a cooked one and he trusted me. Easy peasy.

And yeah, he had stayed by my side since then as a 'gratitude' of saving his life. Ace has the same attitude as me since I'm like his only figure in his life except for oji-chan.

On the outside, his like beast ready to eat you in any moment whenever and whereever he wants with a serious stoic expression. Then on the inside, he's just a cute chubby size childish dog that wants all the cuddles and head pats in the world. He's almost like my double ganger but a wolf and a male.

He also have this weird yet awesome thing he can do; He can enlarge and reduce his body size.

A small mini form that he can easily snuggle on my head or my shoulder. A middle form of a doggo, it's he's regular size. (A/n: God dang that's weird to type... And hear tbh...) Lastly, the biggest one is when he goes full on big beast wolf mode. He also barks, even though he's a wolf, he barks. A great disguise for a dog.

And no... I'm not an official Demon Slayer yet butt I still count cause I slay Demon's a*s.

Suddenly, Axel stopped and growled, making me snap out of my short daze. I stopped beside him as he got into a stance, his eyes holding an expression of anger.

I tilted my head and crouched down. "Hey, what's wrong, bud?" I asked.

He just growled in response as he glared in front of him. I looked towards where he was looking at to see Oji-chan's place.

I looked at him a little bewildered but a smile plastered at my face. "Hey, Axel. What are you so angry about? We're almost home! You get to have all the me- WOI!!" I immediately screamed out to my now running wild wolf.

I quickly ran, chasing after him. "WOI! AXEL! DROP!" I yelled. I quickly ran full speed and dropped the bag containing money. I grabbed hold of his body.

He growled even more as he was so close of BANGING THE FRICKING DOOR OPEN WITH HIS HEAD LIKE A PHYSCO!

"BUD! WHAT'S GOING ON?! CHILL" I yelled out. He quickly turned his head to me as his eyes grew into slits. My eyes immediately widened.

My face softened and took a smell. My eyes widened again.

'Demons... How could I not notice the odd stench? And... An intruder. But that doesn't make sense, that old man is in here. And.. No blood. Could it be a false?' I thought as nothing made sense.

No screaming, no blood, no sword clashing? Odd.

I turned to Axel, his eyes still slit. 'No wonder he acted out so randomly. He thought that old man or anyone in here is in trouble as we speak. Did he not notice there wasn't any sign of blood?'
