Demons past
"Okaa-san..." My daughter, Riko called out to me. I stopped doing my laundry and faced her.
"Yes sweetie?" I asked.
"I'm bored... And Nii-chan doesn't wanna play with me..." She said. I sighed.
Ah yes, after father died, they lost their spirits. I patted her head. I went to the living room as she followed behind me like a duckling. I opened the shoji to see my son, Taiyo sleeping on the tatami.
I crouched down and stroke his hair. "Taiyo, sleeping all day isn't healthy. Would you like to accompany your little sister to the playground?" He groggily opened his eyes and groaned.
"Fine..." He muttered.

"Go, have fun you two." I waved to them as they sprinted off to play. I decided to buy some snacks for them.
Third person POV
"Look who we have here, at our playground..." A boy whom had a bigger body than Riko and Taiyo and his minions.
Taiyo looked at him boredly. "This playground is meant for the public," He said pointing to a sign that says 'Park for Public'. "If you can't read."
The leader of the troupe glared at him. "You... How dare you..." He scowled. Then, grinned. "Well, then. If that's how you want to be... Boys, bring them to the pond."

I went back to the playground and looked around for my children. I didn't see them there so I thought they went into the forest.
"Riko? Tai-" I gasped in horror. At the pond, there were my children's body, floating. I quickly scurried over to them. I pulled them out from the pond.
Riko, she doesn't have any heartbeat anymore but Taiyo does.
I quickly did CPR, I could feel his heartbeat fading away.
"Come on sweetheart.... Riko is lost now... Please... Wake up... Be alive..." I whispered under my breath.
To my avail, I have been doing it till midnight. I failed. I failed of becoming a mother.
"Such a shame..." I heard a deep voice. I turned to see a man wearing formal wear.
I gulped. "W-Who are you..." I muttered, holding my Taiyo close to me.
The man chuckled darkly. "Why don't you become a demon? It's fairly the truth that they didn't want to die, correct?" I hesitate and held Taiyo even close.
"Think about it. Becoming demon, you could avenge your children. You don't want them to die in pain, do you?" He asked. My eyes widened.
I need to do this... For them...
"No."
"Good.... Drink my blood, and you'll be a demon."
I nodded.
