The son looked nothing like his father. He was more human-like. His name was Ryūko. He had light black hair, violet eyes with dragon like ears.

He also had a partner whom he named Driserion. That dragon was a Western Dragon. Yet he can't fly due to his unbalanced tail.
Ryūko had been helping him how to fly with an unbalanced tail. Driserion had been helping how to understand Dragon Body Language. They have been helping each other ever since they met.
They never had a fight with each other. They have lived for centuries with each other. The two even survived in the Heian Period, where Muzan became the first demon to ever existed in planet Earth.
At that time, Driserion was dying due to old age, while Ryūko is immortal. Ryūko walked and walked all around the world to find a spell of immortality. But to no avail, he didn't found any. He went back to their hideout.

As Ryūko arrived, he apologized to his partner. Driserion didn't paid much to it as he wish Ryūko to live a normal life.
"Who are you and what are you doing in my partner's domain?" Ryūko asked.
"I'm Muzan Kibutsuji. A demon I add. And it seems that your partner is a marechi. I want him."
"Hold up. What do you mean demon?"
"A creature. A race of monstrous, immortal and malevolent beings." Muzan stepped into the light, revealing his shining ruby eyes.
Ryūko then summoned his sword he forged with his partner's scales. "I sense trouble from you." He said, twirling his sword. "I won't accept that here."
