(Y/n)'s POV

Finally the final selection is over. As we were walking back home, I looked at Tanjiro. He was exhausted and tired. He almost tripped by his own leg.

I sighed. I sped up a bit to him. I crouched down in front of him. "Get on."

"W-What?... N-No! I can perfectly walk on my own!" Tanjiro protested.

"You're hurt. Just get on." I said.

He was silent for awhile but he gave him when his head was pounding. He softly leaned on me and placed his arms around my shoulder. I grabbed onto him and began walking slowly.

"C-Can I sleep?" He stuttered out. I kept a calm demeanor as I nodded. Just like that, he rested his head on mine.

As I started getting closer to home, I saw the door smashed down. The sound making Tanjiro stirred. My eyes immediately widened when I saw the sight in front of me.

Axel was beside Nezuko. This is the first time I saw her beautiful pink eyes. It looked mesmerizing. Axel on the hand, his fur grew a little long but I guess Axel will be more fluffier.

Seeing Nezuko looking at me curiously, I snapped out of daze. 'She must've missed her brother...' I thought and slowly shook Tanjiro awake.

"Tanjiro. Wake up. We're here. And a special someone has been awake.." I said. His eyes immediately fluttered open. His eyes widen at the sight to see his sister awake.

"Ne... Nezuko? NEZUKO!" He screamed out as he scrambled out of my back. He started running to her but tripped. I was going to help him but stop when I saw Nezuko was gonna do the same too.

Then my attention was set on Axel when he howled loudly, louder than I have ever heard. "Axel!! Come here boy!!" I crouched down as he was immediately in my arms licking my face making me closing my eyes to avoid his saliva into it.

I laughed and slowly stood up. "I missed you too buddy! How are ya?? Have you been a good boy?" He let out a howl in response.

As I opened my eyes to see a stun Urokodaki. I closed my eyes again as I smiled widely. "I'M BACK OLD MAN!!! YA MISSED ME?!" I yelled out and waved to him. He slowly walked towards me and hugged me.

This warmth...

" You're finally back and...You're alive... You're alive..." He whispered under his breath but I heard it. I smiled softly and hugged him back.

"Never underestimate a Ryūsei, oji-san..." I muttered.

After the Final Selection, I slept for 24 hours straight making Axel disappointed. He was really looking forward of spending the whole day with me.

So, that's what happened with me. But except for a day, he has been with me all week long. He didn't even want to leave my side when I'm going outside just for 1 second, but of course I have my own privacy.

A few days ago, I also had my Demon Slayer uniform. I was grateful that they saw my note on giving me shorts. But as I wore my uniform, I found out my short was too short and my shirt was loosing a button. Gratefully, Axel appeared with a button, a needle and a string and I began sewing.

Today, I was drinking some hot chocolate as my breakfast. There was a knock on the door. Urokodaki stood up and slid open the door.

"May I ask is Ryūsei (Y/n) here? My name is Anagasuido Yuijo. I am from the Yuijo generation who forges sword's for Ryūsei family members." I looked towards the door to see a man wearing a... I don't even know what mask is that. Yet again, he has a pretty long name... He was wearing a black and white yukata.
