Brought to Earth by her mother, alongside her twin sister, at the young age of six, both Azar and Artemis train under SHIELD to become Earth's heroes.
At the age of 16, SHIELD is "compromised" by HYDRA resulting in Azar being kidnapped to be torture...
That name has never left her mind. Not even during her brief relationship with the God of Mischief himself, Loki.
She played with her locket which held a star within it, head against the window as she stared out at New York.
She wondered about him every day. Was he alright? What would HYDRA be doing to him?
Is he even still alive?
It's been 8 years..
And she remembered that day clearly. The day where she had been forced to leave him behind.

2006
Alarms were blaring as gunfire rung throughout the HYDRA base. Azar could only watch in horror as SHIELD agents attacked Bucky, not even registering that Artemis was speaking to her.
Her main focus was on her Soldier.
"Azar we have to go." Artemis said sternly as she grabbed her sister's shoulders.
The younger twin looked at her sister with tear filled eyes. "I'm not leaving without him." She whispered.
"Azar--" Artemis began but was cut off by the Winter Soldier as he held off the SHIELD agents that accompanied Artemis, easily knocking them out.
"Azar, go!" He yelled.
"No.. No, I am not leaving without you!" Azar cried as he walked up to her.
He cupped her face. "You've gotta go, doll" He whispered, staring into her eyes. "It's the only way I know you'll be safe."
The brunette shook her head as the tears slid down her cheeks. "Please, James.." She whispered and was silenced by Bucky placing his lips over hers. The kiss was short and gentle but so full of passion.
"I love you. Always remember that." He whispered and pulled away, stepping backwards as he kept his eyes on her.
"Go." He said, taking out a flash grenade as the SHIELD agents were starting to come to.
Azar didn't have any time to react as she was pulled out by her sister just as the Winter Soldier threw down the flash grenade.
She could remember hearing the gunfire, the yelling but what she couldn't remember was fighting her way out of the HYDRA base alongside her sister.
All she could think about was him.

That was the last time she ever saw or heard from Bucky again. She wiped the tear that had slid down her cheek just as her phone lit up with a message.
She picked it up to see it was from her sister. Rolling her eyes, she proceeded to open the message and read over the text.
"Shit!" She gritted out before grabbing her jacket and walking out of her apartment.
