Brought to Earth by her mother, alongside her twin sister, at the young age of six, both Azar and Artemis train under SHIELD to become Earth's heroes.
At the age of 16, SHIELD is "compromised" by HYDRA resulting in Azar being kidnapped to be torture...
Phase one was getting inside of the Project Insight headquarters which they had done successfully.
As the door opened to reveal a Tech guy, both Sam and Maria aimed their guns at him, Azar's eyes glowing, while Steve stepped up.
"Excuse us." The super soldier said, immediately causing the Tech guy to hold his hands up, allowing the group of four inside.

Meanwhile in his office, Pierce addressed the World Security Council Members.
"I know the road hasn't exactly been smooth, and some of you would have gladly kicked me out of the car along the way. Finally we're here, and the world should be grateful." He said, raising his glass of champagne.
The Council began drinking to the senior official's toast when they suddenly heard the voice of none other than Captain America over the intercom systems throughout Triskelion.
" Attention, all SHIELD agents. This is Steve Rogers. You've heard a lot about me over the last few days, some of you were even ordered to hunt me down. But I think it's time you know the truth." They heard Steve paused for a moment before he continued.
"SHIELD is not what we thought it was, it's been taken over by HYDRA. Alexander Pierce is their leader." This piece of information had caused the Council to look at Pierce with shock and arched eyebrows.
"The STRIKE and Insight crew are HYDRA as well."

"I don't know how many more, but I know they're in the building. They could be standing right next to you. They almost have what they want: absolute control. They shot Nick Fury and it won't end there." Steve paused himself once more.
"If you launch those Helicarriers today, HYDRA will be able to kill anyone that stands in their way, unless we stop them. I know I'm asking a lot, but the price of freedom is high, it always has been, and it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one, then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not." He ended.
