Kevin's POV:

"Owens. Kevin Owens. That's my new ring name. That's my new persona. It's a new one and its gold. I'm still going to have a lot of Kevin Steen tendencies but just under a new name." I smiled at the interviewer who remained behind the camera. I was doing a promotional thing for WWE and the topic was NXT's latest. I was one of three men who have signed on with the company and yet, my debut was the most anticipated. "Did you choose your name or did Hunter have one already picked out?" "I did pick my ring name but Hunter also had one picked for me. Originally, I was suppose to be Micheal Keen or Owen Steen but I don't really see how those two fit. Especially the first. I couldn't see myself as a Micheal so."

"Why'd you choose the name Kevin Owens? Any particular reason?" I nodded, "I chose the name for two different reasons actually. They kind of tie in together though. I chose it because as a young boy, my favorite wrestler was Owen Hart. I idolized him and I would've liked to face him one on one in the future but of course now that's not going to happen. I loved his wrestling technique and his prestige and I just loved everything about him. The second is that because of my love and respect for Owen Hart. In honor of him when I have a son, if I have a son, I want to name him Owen. I think it'd be pretty exciting." "Kevin, I've seen you in the past wear a wedding band back in your Ring of Honor days but now I don't see it. Are you still off the market?"

I laughed, "Uh, yes and no. While yes I am still technically off the market, it's not with my wife. I have a found a new woman in my life. I am not wearing my wedding band for the first time in a long time today and it feels pretty damn good. My wife a few days ago has filed for divorce and I'm going to grant her wish eventually signing the papers or whatever." "Do you regret the marriage?" I hesitated then shook my head, "No I don't. I just regret the timing of it all. A lot of things got in the way of us truly being happy together as a married couple should and I just..the timing. The timing was off. And you know, it simply wasn't meant to be."

I'm glad I finally explained that to myself and to everyone else who questioned my feelings about everything. Everything is changing and I've soon realized that Nikki and I aren't going to happen. We're better off apart then as one. It's probably best if I stay away. I smiled at the beauty next to the interviewer. Paige had come with me to the interview. We have been inseparable since the night of The Notebook and I guess it's safe to say we're officially together. So now, I really don't need Nicole in my life because I honestly really like Paige. I might even love her but I don't wanna jump the gun on that one. I'm not admitting that until I know for sure. I have my whole life with Paige to figure this out but for now, I guess we're just having fun.

She smiled back and the interviewer asked, "One more question, then we'll let you go. What does the future hold for Kevin Owens?" I smiled, "That's easy. Professionally? I'm going to dominate NXT and become their champion. I'm going to move up main roster after that and again, become champion. I'll rule the world, become king of your ring, and all within the next..two? Yes. Two years. Kevin Owens is about to fight any and everyone because that's what I do best. And personally?" I paused looking at Paige who continued to smile at me then I smirked at the camera, "Another marriage. A thousand little mini Steens running around. To find out follow me on Twitter @FightOwensFight. Like how I snuck that in there?"

The interviewer laughed then closed it, "Thank you, Kevin." "No, thank you." I stood up and she hugged me tightly, "Phenomenal as always." I kissed her cheek, "I try, I try. I better look at this phone. Someones been blowing it up all throughout this interview." I put my arm around her as we walked toward the truck and looked at it. I got seventeen missed calls from Nikki. Weird. I glanced at Paige as I held the door for her. She entered the truck not noticing and I closed the door. I called Nikki entering the truck on the driver's side. She answered on the first ring, "Where have you been? I've called you at least thirty times." I put her on speaker and said, "Oh you know. Signing divorce papers." "Ugh whatever. We need to talk. Meet me at the park in twenty minutes." "But I-" "Bye Kevin." She hung up and I stared at the phone then looked at Paige, "That's weird." "Sounds fishy." "Only one way to find out."

I sighed, started the truck, and drove off. This better be good.
