Kevin's POV:

Nikki's nails left a scratch on the side of my face but luckily, my facial covered it. It hurt like hell for the rest of the night but I took comfort in my lucky companion to numb the pain. Good ol' Jack Daniels. Alcohol is my only escape from all the pain that Nicole has caused in my life. It sounds ridiculous but you have no idea how big the size of the hole in my heart is. She left. She packed her shit and she left without saying goodbye. I'm an ass, I know, but she makes our relationship seem one sided when it's not. It's all just really crazy. I sat on the floor in my motel room about to finish my third bottle when I heard a knock at my door. I covered my face groaning,"Go away."

"Open the door, Kevin." I sat up not sure if I heard the correct voice and yelled, "It's already open...Brie?" I watched my door open and even through blurry vision, I can tell it was the other half of the Bella Twins. "Well, I see you decorated." I looked around laughing at the mess surrounding me, "I get a little messy when I'm drinking." "I came to talk to you about Nicole." I groaned again and held onto the wall trying to pull myself up, "If it's okay with you, I rather not talk about my wife...don't just stand there, help a fat bastard up will ya?" She sighed and helped me to my feet. I stood up straight..as straight as I could then looked down at her as she spoke, "I wanna know when." "When what?" "Your marriage to my sister. Was it during her vacation to Richmond to visit our aunt?" "No. It was on her Nikki Bella Escape Route...or something like that she..she told me that she told you guys that she was taking a year off to explore." Brie nodded, "That makes sense..I remember that."

I leaned against the wall, "Whys it matter anyway?" "Do you love my sister?" I looked away. Of course I do, what kinda question is that? But the fact is that I can't. "I-" "Don't give me some bullshit answer. Do you love her?" "More than you can realize." "Are you in love with her?" "Damn, you're getting all the answers out of me tonight aren't us?" "Kevin." I held my hands up, "You caught me. I'm busted. I'm in love with her, yes." "Well then there you go. That's why it matters. And she loves you." "She loves Cena."

"Yeah well, not for long. Kevin, now, you're all she talks about. She brags on you and I don't know. With John, it seems as if she's a robot but with you..she seems-" "Miserable?" "Happy." "She smacked me in my face this afternoon." "She told me. I would've smacked you too." I shrugged then reached down to the floor grabbing the rest of that bottle I was drinking. Brie watched as I finished it, "It still shocks me that she married you." "And why is that? Because I'm not as pretty and as baby faced as John Cena?" "Nicole likes to be spoiled rotten. You don't spoil at her at all. She's stubborn, you put her in check every time she talks. She likes a clean man and..well.." She pointed around my room and I smirked.

Brie shook her head, "The point is this. If you don't like her with John Cena, fix it. Don't be a douche though. You have to be the nicest." "Well that's not in my nature." "It doesn't have to be just pretend it does." I sighed. She's right. Being myself isn't getting me Nikki, if anything it's pushing her further away. I just really don't like that Cena guy. He just rubs me the wrong way. "So...aw dammit. Does that mean I have to apologize for nearly killing John? Dammit." "I know, I know but it's for Nikki. Oh and, get her flowers or something for crying out loud." "Or anything expensive. You know how Flawless can be." Brie laughed, "You call her Flawless? And hear I thought it was Fearless Nikki." "Nah, it's Flawless...so.." I smirked, "You and Bryan Danielson?"

She glared as I laughed. "Bryan is amazing, thank you." "He's such a dork. I remember him doing a backflip when he won his first match." "You see, that's not even true." "I know but it's something he would've done. By the way, I love the beard thing. Oh and the Yes movement, that's gold." "Please don't start the yes chants, I get that enough at home." "I bet you do," I smirked and she shoved me playfully, "Not sexually, you perv." "You said it not me." She kept shoving me playfully as I kept laughing and I started chanting yes like she asked me not to. I know she wasn't exactly a sister but she's my sister in law, that's close enough. I never had a sister before and this felt nice. I felt like I kinda had an ally in Brie to which is good because she can give me an inside scoop on Nicole. Why not be cool with Brie? I was friends with her husband. She can't be that bad.

I guess Brie left the door open because the next thing I heard was a third voice. A voice I know pretty well. "You have got to be kidding me. Really, Brianna, really?" We both faced the door and there stood Nicole. "Nic- "Save it, Kevin." "Nicole, Kevin and I were just talking about you and-" "I can't wait until Bryan gets a load of this. I guess since we're talking to brother in laws tonight." Nikki started to walk away and Brie followed. I followed them both. "Nicole, nothing was going to happen with Kevin and I. Nicole!" Nikki was already far ahead of her and I guess pretended not to hear. Typical Flawless, always jealous. Brie sighed and glanced at me then back toward her direction, "Your wife is a drama queen," Brie mumbled. I nodded.

Nicole really is a drama queen.
