chapter 6

Narrator's p.o.v

      "Today is an exciting day for our young heroes as they approach Lumiouse city. Where they will meet professor Sicamore in his lab."

     Elli groaned in annoyance and yells. "Be quiet. I can hear you and not them!"

   "I forgot she can hear me."

    Elli's p.o.v.

      "Who are you talking to? " Ash asked me. Oh I forgot they cant hear that guy.

    "Oh I just talk to the clouds when I get bored. " I said rubbing the back of my head.

  "But there's no clouds today."

     "Then the sun."   Great...now I talk to the clouds. Just great.

     "Hey I can see it." Bonnie exclaims running ahead of us.

     The rest of us ran until we saw the beautiful city of Lumiouse. The city is even better than I imagined. The buildings shone in the sun as the water in the lakes sparkled.

    "Its beautiful." I said to myself. Clemont nodded and explained how professor Sicamore studies pokemon's mega evalution.

     When he was finished we finally reached the lab. The door opened with a man with crazy black hair, green eyes, and a lab coat . "Hi everyone. I'm so glad you could be able to come."

      When we went inside I saw all of the pokemon scurrying around. "This is Elli. Elli this is Professor Sicamore."

     "Nice to meet you Elli." The professor stuck out his hand for me to shake it.

     "And the same to you." I said as I shook his hand.

        "Right this way please." He led us to a giant glass room. it was filled with trees full of berries, lakes with water pokemon, and flying type pokemon in the air. "This is where I conduct my research for evalutions." He explains.

     A small Froakie came up to me. Its white mane puffed up as if to show its brave. I chuckled and petted it and explored.

     "Do you have any pokemon?" Sicamore asked me. I turned around and realized Ash still had Snorlax. He probably realized too because he took out a pokeball and handed it to me.

   "Ash caught this for me. Since ive never done it before." I explained as I let Snorlax out.

   "Snoooooorlaaaaaaax" It yawned before falling to the ground to sleep. "Fascinating. " Sicamore muttered looking at the pokemon.

     "Wait did you say you didn't know how to use a pokeball? " I nodded as Sicamore took out a small box and handed it to me.

     "That's a pokedex. You use it to record pokemon when you catch them as you've seen before."

       "Oh and you need another pokemon."

    Sicamore led us to the first room we were in.  There were three pokemon.

     A Fennikin, a Chespin, And a Froakie.

     I saw they didn't want me. "I'm sorry but they don't want to be with me." I told him.

  "They seem to." Sicamore put his hand on his chin.

    "They're only doing it so they can get out of here and roam free." I was suddenly shocked at what I said. Did I just hear their thoughts?

     "Ok then.... I guess you will be with only one pokemon for now."

     "Hey how about we have some macarons." Serene said.

    We walked through the long narrow hallway and to a sitting area in the glass room. We sat eating macarons happily when I heard a rustle behind me. I turned around and saw a small Gardevoir hiding behind the Bush.

     "Who's this? "

   "That's Gardevoir.  Shes been here a while."

   The Gardevoir walks closer to me. I offer it a macaroni, she takes it gratefully and eats it.

     When its done it sits next to me smiling. Maybe it likes me.

    "Can I catch it?" I ask.

     The professor nods and hands me an empty pokeball.

    "I'd like to catch you. Is it okay? " The Gardevoir nods and stands up.

    "Alright Snorlax use pound." I said starting the battle.

   Snorlax ran up close to Gardevoir and uses Pound.

     Gardevoir takes a few steps back and uses Moon Blast. The moon's ray goes to Snorlax who falls.

      "You can do it Elli! " Bonnie yells. I grit my teeth and clench my hands.

    I have to do this, I know I can.

    Gardevoir uses Shadow Ball, Perfect.  "Snorlax use Pound!" I call out getting the pokeball ready.

      The ball zooms across the field and close to Snorlax. It uses Pound the same way he used it for Electro ball. The ball goes back to Gardevoir, taking a lot of damadge.

       "Here it goes." I mutter to myself as I pull my arm back. "Pokeball go! " The pokeball hits Gardevoir and takes it inside. The ball shakes for what seemed like forever.

     The ball stops shaking and poofs little sparkles signaling I caught the pokemon.

     "Yes I caught a Pokemon! " i yell as I jump up in the air.
