chapter 37

   "Here you go! Enjoy! " The man handed us our own picture.

     Bonnie was in the front while Ash and Serena were at the far right. Gardevoir, Clemont, and I were in the middle. Korrina and Lucario were at the far left.

    "I love it! " I exclaimed putting it in my backpack.

    Serena was staring at the picture of Ash. So cute!!!

    "Hey Serena! We're ready!! " I yelled. She snapped out of her daze and put the picture into her pocket. "Coming!! "

    "I think we missed a turn."

    We've been walking around the mountain for a long time. no sign of a cave anywhere.

    As we walked two giant boulders appeared against a wall. Lucario and I walked towards it.

   "Lucario? Elli? What's wrong? " Clemont asked.

     I touched the two boulders and concentrated my energy on it. Heartbeats were heard.

     A vision came, I saw a orange rock. Inside the rock was a stone with a DNA Symbol on it.

     "Its in here."

    Lucario nodded. He mustve sensed it too. "You and Lucario can sense the Lucarionite's aura. Amazing!! " Korrina exclaimed.

      "Okay Lucario use Power up punch!! "

   Lucario's fist began to glow. He punched the wall so hard it cracked into peices. "Come on!! " I yelled walking around the debris.

       Walking along a long narrow hallway I saw an opening at the end. "Do you hear something? " I asked as screams grew louder.

    A blur if blue,purple, and pink passed by. "WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGGGAAIIINNNN!!!! "

     "Was that -"

     "Team Rocket. " Clemont finished for Serena.

     Korrina stared to walk forward but Lucario and I shot our hands out to block her.

    "Something else is in there." I stated hearing another heartbeat. "We have to get in there!! We have to get the Lucarionite." Korrina protested.

    "But its pitch black in there." Serena said sounding scared.

    "Clemontic gear on." A giant flashlight appeared out of Clemont's backpack. "Good idea Clemont!!" Ash praised.

     "We can go now." I said not sensing any danger.

     "Stay close. It may be dangerous." Ash warned Serena, Bonnie, and Me.

     "Oh please after all the stuff ive been through I'm sure ill be fine." I said walking a little faster.

     "Protect us Pikachu okay? " Bonnie asked scared.

   "Pika."

      Not much about the cave is interesting. Just rocks and, wait, "Hey a door!! " I exclaimed pointing to a set of metal double doors.

     Inside of those doors was a long walkway in the middle of a blue pool that seemed to glow. At the and of the walkway was a staircase that led to a pedastal.

     The pedastel had the orange rock with the Lucarionite!!

   "There it is!! We finally made it." Korrina exclaimed as she and Lucario were running towards it.

     A new heartbeat was heard in my ears. "Wait!!" I yelled.

    A pokemon about 6 feet tall, red legs, white chest, a beak,  blueish greenish eyes, and a white feathers that acted like hair jumped out of the blue and kicked Lucario in the head.

     "What kind of pokemon is that!? " I asked sensing the heartbeat of Lucario is growing faster and harder.

     Serena pulled out her pokedex. "Blazekin. The charring pokemon. Blazekin leaves opponents charred at the end of its battle."

     Blazekin jumped off of Lucario and onto the Pedastal. "I see, " Korrina starts, "In order to get the Lucarionite.We have to battle for it."

     She takes off her backpack and hands it to Ash. "Good luck! " He called after.

    "Thanks but this is a battle we're gonna win."
