Chapter 63

     "Elli, do you think Ash and Serena will make up? "Bonnie whispered into my ear. She had a worried expression on her face.

    "Yes..you want to know why? " She whispered back.

    She nodded, "There's only one road for them to take." Her mouth made an O shape.

      More thunder came, causing Bonnie to shrink back, scared. "You don't like thunder do you? " Elli asked.

    "She has Brontophobia." Clemont explains.

   Ash was sitting down on a peice of log nearby. His face covered his hat. He knew Elli had a point, he had to apologize. But, then again, part of him doesn't want to.

     "I'm going to sleep in the tree."He stated, grabbing his sleeping bag and climbing up one of the trees.

     "Can you sing to me again? " Bonnie asked quietly, wanting to feel okay. Elli nodded, grabbing a blanket and placing it around Bonnie, who was shaking.

      "There is a castle on a cloud

     I like to go there in my sleep.

     Aren't any floors for me to sweep

   Not in my castle on a cloud.

  There is a world that's full of toys.

   There are a hundred boys and girls,

    Nobody shouts or talks too loud.

   Not in my castle on a cloud."

  As Elli sang Ash was thinking of how his mother sang this song. She said his father taught it to her. It brought back so many memories that were lost.

      Time seemed to slow down, the wind softened, no thunder was heard. Not as long a Elli sang the lullaby.

   "There is a lady old as time

    She holds me and sings a lullaby.

     She's nice to see and she's soft to touch.

    She says (whisper)  Bonnie, I love you very much.

   I know a place where no ones lost.

  I know a place where no one cries.

  For crying at all is not allowed,

Not on my castle on a cloud."

     When she finished the last verse Bonnie had visited the castle on the cloud. "Have fun." Elli whispered as she tucked her into her sleeping bag.

      Around the tree Ash was on a few flowers grew on the branches nearby. These flowers could glow, you could say. "Wish." A voice whispered into his mind.

      "What? "Ash asked quietly.

    "Wish..."Ash was confused, what did it mean by wish. He took a deep breath and made a wish. There he was able to hear Elli's song.

     He gradually fell asleep, hearing the lullaby.
