chapter 29

   "What are you doing here? " Ash asked once he stood up.

   "Working. They let me operate the train." Elli said dusting the sut off of Ash and Pikachu.

    "Who? " Elli laughed. "The engineer."

    She points outside the window to the engineers. (Jessie and James) "They're changing the lightbulb "

    Outside.

  Jessie was ontop of the train. "Quit your yapping and put in the light! " She yelled frustrated.

     James screws on the lightbulb and sighs in releif. A figure appears at the end of the tracks. James yells in surprise.

    "STOP THE TRAIN! STOP THE TRAIN!!"

   The engine room

   "They want us to stop the train! " Elli runs to the controls and looks for the brakes.

     "Which one is it?! "

   Elli points to a lever on the wall. Ash hesitates. "What about this red one that looks like a brake? "

    "No the engineer said this one." Elli said confidently.

   "Are you sure? "

   Elli didn't answer. "Are you sure? " Ash asked getting impatient. Elli sat down and put her hands on her face.

    Ash grips the red lever but hesitates. Making a decision he grips the one on the wall and pulls it

     The train started to stop making everyone move forward. The Conductress storms into the room.

    "WHO PULLED THE -"

   She stops when she sees Ash and Pikachu. "Now are you two bound to never let this train get to the North Pole?! "

   "Look outside." Elli points to the front of the train. About 1,000,000 GoGoats were crossing the train.

The Gogoats were grass types. Obviously they looked like goats Just the size of a Ryhorn.

     "Its gonna take hours before we can get back on track." James exclaims.

     Ash slips on ice, holding Jessie's long hair for support.

    Jessie screams in pain before Ash lets go.One of the Gogoats yelled.

     Experimenting The Conductress pulls the hair down again. Jessie yells and the GoGoat yelled back. Soon all of the GoGoats parted from the tracks so the train could get through.

      

   "Great Job everyone." The Conductress helps the two children on board.

  "Now all we have to do is pass the frozen waters then we'll be at the North Pole." She explains.

   

    They heard a large crack. The ice started to break.

  "Oh No! " Elli yelled holding on tightly To Ash.

     The train was half way into the water. After a bump Ash's hat fell onto his lap. Elli's ticket flying infront of them.

    "Your gonna lose your ticket! " Elli yelled noticing it.

   "Its not my ticket its yours." Ash points to her.

   "What!? We gotta catch it." Using their hands Elli and Ash catch the ticket at the same time. As the train safely (Almost...) passes the waters.

    "Thankyouthankyouthankyou!!!!" Elli exclaims hugging him.

   "My ticket."Elli holds the ticket in the air for a better view. "Did someone say ticket? " the conductress asked popping up from the train.

    "May I? " she asked after Elli nodded her head.

   Once she took hold of the ticket she started to punch into the tickets. When she handed it back to Elli she left out of sight.

  "L E."

"Hey just like Clemont."

   Elli quickly agreed.

    The Conductress led them back to the cart. But Elli had other plans...
