Chapter 4
"PEETA! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" I howl.
"Why do you even bother talking to me?" He scoffs not even looking my way. He stares out the small window.
"I want to figure things out with you! Help me clean up YOUR mess!" I holler as I pick up a tipped over dining chair. Peeta heavily gets up with his shoulders slumped over. He walks over to the kitchen and picks up a dirty pot, that I used to make breakfast this morning, off the hard wood floor.
"I don't understand why you have to keep secrets from me!" He yells.
"Oh, me keeping secrets, how about you? What have I done?" I ask.
"How about when you...uhhh....oh, when you...umm," he stutters.
"Exactly! I don't keep secrets. I don't half my secrets until the whole world knows them."
"Like what?" He questions.
"Like when you told the whole world I was pregnant!"
"That was an act to try to get the Captiol to stop the Hunger Games!" He confesses.
"You enjoyed every minute telling the world that!" I yell losing patience.
"What if I did? I loved you and I wished that was happening to is at that moment!" He bellows.
"Well...you got what you wanted! You have Jenny and now your life is complete!" I reply.
"Look I'm sorry! I didn't want this argument to happen!" He shouts.
"Wow! That's heart-felt." I sarcastically say.
"No....I mean it. I love you. I couldn't live without you in my life. I want another baby and this whole fight was stupid. I will never keep another secret from you again. I promise." he says. I turn to face our room to find Jenny standing there shyly.
"Do you have to sign documents for that promise too?" Jenny asks.
I giggle and respond, "No baby girl. we just made a breakthrough." I turn to face Peeta again with I forgiving smile. "I love you too Peeta and I will never keep secrets from you either." We walk closer to each other and give each other a forgiving kiss. I feel so relieved this is over and in the past. I don't want him to stop kissing me. I feel butterflies in my stomach.
"EWWWW! That's gross!" Jenny interrupts. Our lips part and we both laugh in unison keeping a sharp stare at each other's faces. He smiles at me at places one more peck on my lips.
