I gaze at the flawless sky that stretches for miles and I can't see the end. I feel a butterfly feeling yet a calm feeling as my fingers are loosely linked like a chain fence around Peeta's soft, gentle hands. For whatever reason, we look at each other. I look up at his twinkling blue eyes and he looks down at my sapphire. We turn back to watch our baby girl prance in the tall grass. I rest my head on his broad shoulder and I feel him take a deep breath. I smile as I hear laughter come from Jenny. She picks a bright, fresh daisy and comes trotting over to us. I feel Peeta smile as he sees her long brown curls bounce in the summer breeze. He leans over and awaits for Jenny's arrival. "Here you go daddy!" she giggles. Peeta's smile gets wider as he gratefully takes the flower.
"Thank you Jenny," he says. Jenny turns and gallops back to her playing. Peeta turns to me and hands me the daisy. "To my beautiful wife," he replies softly. I gently take the flower and lean in to him. He leans in close to me and we are inches from each others' lips. I feel his warm breath on my face and I come in closer. He leans in to seal the kiss. My stomach jumps into my throat and I feel adrenaline rushing through my body. As I stand on my tippy-toes to reach his lips, he wraps his strong arms around my waist. I realize that I have don't know where my daughter is at the moment and I slowly let go of his lips.
"I love you," I whisper.
"I love you Katniss," he murmurs. I turn to face the meadow. I find it empty. All I can see is the tall grass swiftly flowing through the breeze.
