The drive to her new 'home' was completely silent. The air was thick with an awkward tension and she couldn't quite put her finger on what was causing it. In the end, Carli put it down to three factors: his parent's wondering what happened when they were alone; Jimin having to hide how he felt about this from his parents and a new person in the car disturbing their family dynamic. She had to admit, she did feel pretty awkward and kind of left out even if nothing had been said.

As she was lost in thought, they arrived to the house. Carli's eyes opened wide in shock. The house was absolutely massive. She had always though she had a pretty big house but it paled in comparison to the building stood before her. She stood in awe of it, until Jimin tapped her on the shoulder.

"Coming in?" He asked.

"I- yeah." She hung her head shyly and scuttled through the front doors. Jimin simply giggled quietly and followed her in.

As soon as she stepped through the front doors, it was as if she had entered ancient Greece. There were iconic pillars scattered throughout the interior and intricate detailing seemingly danced across the ceiling. She couldn't believe that there were people who actually lived in places like this. And she was one of them now!

"Welcome to your knew home, Carli!" His mother exclaimed, full of excitement. "Jimin, bring her to her room and give her a small tour of the house so she knows where everything is. Be back down in time for dinner!" She waved to the two of them and walked off in the opposite direction with her husband.

"Okay, so it's tour time, I guess." Jimin muttered and lead her down a corridor. The entire time Carli was near silent. She merely hummed a little in response occasionally to show she was listening to him. He dragged her all over the house, which considering the size of it and the shoes she was wearing absolutely killed her feet.

"I'm sorry but I have to take these shoes off, my feet are killing me and these shoes aren't exactly suitable for a near marathon." She huffed and bent down to pull the shoes off her feet. However, because of how tight her dress was, she ended up falling over onto the floor in a rather unflattering display. She could see Jimin trying to hold in his giggles as he bent down to help her up. She swatted his hand away from her.

"I'm fine! I've got this." She blushed in embarrassment and continued to attempt to get up but it only resulted in her falling over again and again and again.

"Just let me help you. It's pretty obvious you're not getting up anytime soon. Unless it was your goal to be on the floor and wiggle along like a worm." He continued to hold in his giggles.

"Would you still date me if I was a worm?" She whispered to herself. Jimin looked down at her and blushed in response. As soon as she saw she scoffed at him.

"It's a tiktok trend, idiot..." Jimin gave a look of realisation at the fact that he was, in fact, being an idiot. "Okay, can you help me up? I give up trying."

"Yes, of course!" He leant down, held her hands between his and pulled her up from the floor. He ended up pulling too hard and Carli came crashing into his chest. Both of them were blushing profusely at this point but Carli refused to give in to the expectations of her. She shoved him off her and thanked him before they began on their tour again. Eventually, they got to her bedroom.

"This is your room. My parents already put clothes in the closets and drawers so you don't need to worry about all that. You have an ensuite so you'll never be walked in on by anyone while you're showering and stuff. They got all the toiletries you'll need and if you run out just ask them and they'll get you some more. I'll leave you to it, then. Be downstairs at 6 for dinner. I'll see you later." He bowed his head and rushed off.

Carli couldn't help but feel a little sorry for him but she just wasn't prepared to trust him just yet. It took time for things like that to develop. She opened the door and walked into the room. She couldn't help but gasp at the beautiful decor. It was as if they knew everything she had ever wanted in a room and had made it a reality.

The first thing she did was look in the wardrobe. It was all just dresses. She wrinkled her nose up at the sight. "I just want to live in jeans and a baggy hoodie. Is that seriously too much to ask?!" She groaned at the thought of the uncomfortable fabric scratching against her skin.

Then she moved onto the drawers. Oddly, they had put shoes in the drawers instead of the closet. "Who the fuck doesn't put shoes in the closet?!" She would have to sort that out later. She kept looking through them and came to the underware draw. It was pretty much just filled to the brim with lingere. "Oh my God I'm not gonna fuck your son so why don't you hut fuck off with this shit. Then again, I'd rather wear this than go commando with a dress so I guess I'll have to just deal with it..." She sighed at the thought.

"This is gonna take some getting used to..." She spoke to herself as she threw herself onto the bed and stared up at the ceiling.

Suddenly, a knock came from the other side if the door. She jumped from the bed and sat down, attempting to look natural but just looking awkward instead.

"Come in!" The door opened to a sheepish Jimin. He had some baby blue towels in his hands.

"Hey, um, I think my parents forgot to give you towels so I brought you these. It's weird how they can be so detail orientated and yet forget such simple things in the process. I'll just, um, leave them here for you." He placed them on the bed and walked out the door. As it was about to close, she spoke out to him.

"Jimin?" The door opened again and he looked at her, an almost hopeful expression on his face.

"Yes?" He asked quietly.

"Thank you for being nice and all. I'm sorry I can come across rude. I just, I have a hard time trusting people so I hope you can understand how I act." She fiddled with her finger shyly, not used to being vulnerable at all. She felt as if he deserved to know though, seeing has he had been nice and was trying to make her as comfortable as possible.

"No need to apologise for that. I'm just glad you explained it so I know what's going on. I'll leave you now but I'm just next door if you need me." He smiled cutely and left the room.

Carli couldn't help feeling like she wanted him to stay with her.
