It's just past 10 and I'm alone in my apartment.

Prem went to go get groceries almost an hour ago, even though I told him he didn't have to.

Long story short, he threatened to hit me with a frying pan if I didn't let him go, and because he's chased me with one before I complied and let him go.

So I'm just sitting in my lounge reading a book, thinking about him.

Despite the fact that he's only been staying here for 3 days, I've already gotten used to it.

It's like a dream when I wake up and see him, whether it's him making breakfast or just walking into the kitchen greeting me, it gives me a feeling that I can't even explain.

I know that he's stayed at my place before, but that was before, when I was only just realizing my feelings for him.

But now it's different, now he's the only one I can even think about living the rest of my life with, growing old with.

He's the thing I think of when I think about my future. To me...

He is my future.

Even if I never get to spend it with him in a romantic way and just a friendship way, I'll be okay with that outcome. Because at least he'll still be there.

Is it healthy for me to think that way?

Even if it isn't, I can't help it. For me he's the one. And I can tell you now, that that's never going to change...

The sound of a door opening takes me out of my thoughts, and I get up to go greet him.

"Hey." I say grabbing one of the two bags he's holding and then close the door behind him.

"Hey."

I follow him into the kitchen and place the bag on the counter and he does the same.

"So, have a good time without me being there to help you?" I ask not even trying to hide the cockiness in my voice.

He smirks.

Well fuck.

"I did actually. Since I got there quite early there was barely anyone there, and plus it's a work day. It took me less than 20 minutes to get everything and I was done." He quirks his eyebrow and continues smirking at me.

The little bastard! (A/N see what I did there?)

"Don't look at me with that smug look on your face." He laughs.

"Come on, help me unpack." I nod and we start putting everything in its proper place.

"While I was out Fluke messaged and asked if 6 was okay for us."

"What?"

"If it was okay to have dinner at 6."

"Oh... yeah, that's cool." He nods.

"Where are we going?"

"Oh. It's a little restaurant about 30 minutes away from here, it's called Fleur de Neige."

"It's a French restaurant?"

"It would appear so." I nod.

We finish packing everything away and go take a seat at the counter.

"I forgot to ask last night, how did the add go?"

"Oh. It was pretty good, it wasn't like I had to memorize a huge script or anything, I barely had anything to say. All I basically had to do was interact with the girl that was with me and look good and act properly. The reason it took so long was also because we tried different places and scenes."
