"We will be fine."
"I don't know what to do, you wanted us to do this together but this was a big dream of mine. I want to make you happy."
"Even if we go to different entertainments, that doesn't mean we still can't be friends. It will be harder, but trust me we will be fine!"
I can't stand his positivity sometimes.
"Well, that's one of my best features!" "SHHHHHHH!"
"Are you sure you want to do this, they need an answer now." The principal asked us for the final time "you can't back out after you sign this paper."
Johnny gave me a reassuring look and we both took a pen and signed separate papers. "You have one week to pack. We will pick you up here."
I go home and tell my mom the big news
"AHHHHHHHH!!!! HYUN-JIN!"
She ran up to me and gave me the biggest hug of my life and I just wanted to go to my room and process what I did.

The next few days were very hectic, I had to pack and tell my family what was happening. I got packed in three days and Johnny was packed at the same time I was. I invited him over to hang out and talk about everything that is about to happen.
*One hour later*
"Can you believe it! We are going to be k-pop idols! We are going to be famous!"
I look at him with a faint smile and he notices right away "whats wrong Hyun?"
"I don't know, I'm not even sure I'm cut out for this. I know I can sing and dance but am I ready?" I give a worried look but I'm trying to act strong.
"Girl, I know two things. One is that you can do anything you put your mind to. Second I know that it's going to be hard and we won't talk as much as we used to."
"Great!"
"Let me finish! We won't talk as much as we used to, but that isn't going to stop us from being best friends. I would take a bullet for you and I can't imagine life without you. Let's do this together and smile all the way through it and never give up!"
Him talking makes me feel so much better. I smiled for the first time in the past three days and I look up at him and say "I'll be better than you."
"Yeah right! I'll be everyone's Oppa!"
"Your ego is too high!"
"Oh yeah? I challenge you to baseball!"
"You're on!"
We played baseball until the sun was gone. We both won on our teams but in the end, we had a lot of fun and I couldn't have asked for a better day.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I woke up to my alarm and I realized what day it was. Of course, I was running late so I jumped up and got dressed for the airport. I go downstairs and there sat Johnny.
"About time! Let's go"
I nodded and I looked at my family and I told my brother that I'll see him soon and he started to cry but I stayed strong and I didn't cry. I put all my belongings in the trunk of the car and we drove to the school.
We got there and the entertainments were waiting on us and they took our stuff and gave me a few minutes to say goodbye to my mom.
"Please call me if you need anything in fact call me every day!" She started to tear up "you make me so proud you will do great things!" She gave me another big and long hug. I never heard her say that she was proud of me and hearing her say that for the first time made me willing to keep going.
"It's time," one of the guards told us and she let me go and I followed the guard to the black van. They opened the door for Johnny and me and we got in.
I was a nervous wreck, this has to be the biggest decision I have ever made. I was looking out the window to see the city I grew up in, thinking about the memories I have in the park, getting ice cream when it was warm, and just being a kid. Now that's all over. I was excited about the change, I was excited about the future and that's what I need to put in my mind.
We get to the airport and we jump ahead of everyone, I didn't understand that but I just went with it because I hate airports. We were escorted to first-class and I felt rich.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We made it to South Korea about sixteen hours later. I was tired and hungry, but I was not looking forward to saying bye to Johnny, even if it was only for a little while.
After we got all our stuff from the plane we walked out and I noticed all the people, not knowing who we are, but hopefully, soon they will know. At this point, I noticed two vans, one said SM Entertainment, and I looked over to see BigHit and I knew it was time for us to go separate ways.
"We will give you a few minutes." We walked to a small cafe in the airport and we sat down and talked.
"This is it, Hyun. This is the point where our lives change. I'm so excited, I was told that we would both train for ten years so we are of age we can debut."
"I can't wait," I say holding back tears.
"Did you notice I cry a lot? It's a habit." "That hasn't changed!" "I hope you all are ready to see Johnny getting punched in the face!" "Yeah right!" "Anyway!"
"You are going to do great Hyun-Jin. You have nothing to worry about. I will contact you when I get the chance. I promise."
"Okay." We get up and I give him the biggest hug he would ever receive. Then we both get taken to separate buildings where I am already told that a girl group was already debuting, and they plan on making another one as soon as more people train. Also that I already have that spot, just have to train until then.
( Bold will be pov of the other. For example, when we are in Hyun-jin pov johnny will be in bold but when we are in johnny pov Hyun-jin will be in bold. I plan on telling the pov which the chapter takes place at the beginning. The bold starts now! )
"I didn't want Hyun-Jin to cry, she has never given me that big of a hug before. I was told that I would train for ten years, but no information about a group yet. I just hope it's not more than ten members!"
