What do I do now? ( Johnny POV )

I see Hyun-Jin laughing, smiling, and enjoying herself. I love that so much, but I really messed things up. I go to the only person I can talk to about this. 

"What did you do?"

"Look, Jennie, I don't know what to do! You're a girl help me out!"

"Well, she told me over the phone what you did and it sounds like you have to make it up to her."

"How? I just told her that I was in love with someone else? I just broke her heart. I know I did, I saw it in her eyes before I took off." 

"Look, Johnny, if she loves you then she will forgive you, but for now give her some space and I'll talk to her and see what I can do."

"Thanks! You are the best!"

"No problem, now I have someone to meet."

"Kai I'm guessing."

"Correct. I got your back I promise, but get ready for your debut. You perform tomorrow don't you?" 

"Yes, I just wish I didn't mess up my words."

"It happens to the best of us."

That night I couldn't sleep. I just can't believe that I did that. I don't know what I was thinking. I never have seen her so heartbroken and it's all my fault.

"Don't beat yourself up so much, Johnny."

"I don't know if she will listen to me again Mark. I think I really messed up."

"I don't think you did, I think it was just the heat of the moment and you just fumbled your words, just like Jennie said it happens to the best of us."

"Well, you don't tell the love of your life that you love someone else. It just doesn't work like that!"

"Don't get snappy! Just trying to help!"

"I'm sorry, I j-just didn't want to hurt her..."

A tear starts to go down my face, but I quickly wipe it away because I don't want anyone seeing me cry, but it was too late. 

"Wow, the positive boy is crying?"

"Be quiet, Kai..."

"I'm sorry, but I did talk to her those months ago, she is really hurt. You need to tell her how you feel right away WITHOUT messing up this time!"

"I tried several times to explain myself, but she ether says she's busy, doesn't want to talk, or she understands that I like someone else. I can't get through to her. I was also told to give her time while she tried to talk to her, but I don't know of Hyun and Jennie get along."

Oh, sweet Jennie wants to hang out with me! I love her so much! She is so sweet to me! I have to wear my best outfit! Well after I feel better! 

"Well, if they don't she will listen to me. If Jennie doesn't help I can try."

"Thanks, Kai, but if she can't get through to her no one will be able too." 

"Where did the positive boy go?"

"He left when she did." 

*THE NEXT MORNING*

"Get up! We have to get ready for our debut!"

I groan I don't want to go. I get up anyway and try to put a real smile on my face. All but one person saw through it. Mark whispered in my ear that everything was going to fine and not to worry about her today.

Not worry about her? I want to hug her, I want to kiss her, I want her to be mine. How do I not worry about her? I don't want her to move on, I want her for myself. Out of all the girls that are going to fall for me I want her to fall for me again.

"Stage in 5 minutes"

"Yes finally!" Taeil said with excitement

"This is our time to shine," Yuta said.

"Yeah, Let's have fun!" I say with a smile. I really mean that though. I may have had a bad past few months, but this has been my dream too I want to shine on the stage just like she did. 

I peek outside and I see millions of people! My heart sinks, I saw the two girls from Hyun-Jins group, but not her. I send her a quick text

"Hey I see your members but not you, are you okay?"

I didn't expect a text back but I got one.

"Sorry, I wanted to be there to support the group, but I'm sick. I am watching on live tv though. Good luck!"

Well, she still cares at least. That's one step closer for me winning her back! That boosts my confidence up by 100% percent. I go up to the other members and say "we will blow them all away! Smiles, sexiness, singing, and dancing. Throw everything you have at those people. Let's make this a concert they will never forget!"

"Well, someone turned on your positivity switch! Glad to see you back Johnny!" 

WIth a smile, I start hyping everyone up. 

"Everyone Welcome NCT. The 7th Sense!" 

Everyone clapped and some girls even cried! I can't belive that we have this effect on people and it makes me laugh. 

Needless to say, that was the most fun I have had in a long time. I thought dancing was fun already, just add all the other members and a stage full of people. 

"We did amazing!"

"We did what you asked us to. We didn't even listen to the leader," Yuta stated 

"Well, I would've told us to do the same thing," Taeyong said proudly 

I think about Hyun-Jin, this is must be what she felt like when she performed for the first time. I remember her trying to explain it for the first time and she couldn't think of a way to explain it. I now know what she felt like, and to be honest I can't really explain it either. What I can say though is that I was happy to see everyone happy, and that's one of the reasons I'm here and doing what I'm doing. 

Yuna Kim and Jiwoo Park came up to me after the show and they told me that Hyun-Jin really wanted to be here for me, but she was sick. I already knew this and I told them that I already knew and they looked concerned.

"What's wrong girls?"

They looked at each other and then at me and said: "she isn't sick."

"What are you talking about?"

"She isn't sick, she didn't want you to feel upset on stage so she lied to you. We didn't want to tell you, but she told us to tell you after the performance."

What? I felt like I was hit by a ton of bricks. 

"Great show though! We hope you and Hyun-Jin work things out, we hate seeing you two like this."

"Yes, me too."

I walk past the group and they stop me.

"Aye Johnny, woah it looks like you just have seen a ghost. Are you okay?"

"Guys, I need help. Hyun-Jin lied to me. I can't keep this from her anymore. Even if she hates my guts now I have to tell her I love her. What can we do?"
