Ramona's POV
I barely slept and today was Monday which means I have no choice but to go to school. Sadly I have to go home in order to get clothes and my bag. I got up and Joshua woke up yawning which made laugh a little. He then smiled at me and I smiled back.
"Did you sleep?" he asked getting up to sit with me.
"Not really" I said and he nodded.
"Well you need to get ready for school and I know you don't want to go home" he said.
"I know,I am gonna go now but just bring me breakfast because I am going to shower and dress and get out" I said and he nodded.
We both got up and I scanned his body as the sunlight shined on him and he was actually built. His abs were shaped perfect and his hair was a little messy but it made him look really good and even his smile. Joshua was blessed no doubt.
"Go on and stop staring" he said and I just smile shyly and walked downstairs.
His parents must still be asleep and honestly I didn't want them seeing me coming out of his room which would make things weird or awkward for both of us. I finally reached outside and sigh as I walked to my house. I tried to sneak in but the door made a creak sound so I knew that they heard it. Stupid door! I walked in only to see my dad waking up on the couch and Mary was still asleep.
"Can we talk?" he asked me but I didn't answer him as I felt angry at him still.
So I walked passed him and he even followed me but I ran to my room and closed my door shut. He was calling for me to open the door but I blocked it out and prepared my bag to stay over at Joshua's tonight again. I went to shower and put my hair in a ponytail and got dressed in a simple black dress and some red flats and checked the mirror and prepared myself for the argument coming. I walked out my room and my dad stood there with his eyes red and I walked downstairs passing him.
"Ramona Anthony stop" he shouted angrily and I stopped.
"Did Joshua find you?" he asked and I didn't answer him.
"I know he did and I knew you were next door" he said and I turned to him.
"Okay so now that you know my whereabouts bye" I said coldly but he stopped me.
"What is it?" I sighed from frustration.
"We need to talk" he said and I just laughed.
"This family has a real way of hiding secrets, first mom didn't give me chance to be there for her and my father has been hiding a whole three year relationship from me and my dead mother" I said and he sighed.
"Ramona it's not like that" he said and I felt the tears coming but I sucked it up.
"You had the chance to talk before but you didn't care so why should I even listen now?" I said walking away when he stopped me again.
"Its all a mess Ramona, you need to let me explain" he pleaded and I watched him.
"I don't want to hear anything right now especially from you" I said and he sighed.
"Your stubborn just like her" he whispered to himself and I turned around and looked at him.
"I am glad I didn't get anything from you" I said slamming the door.
Joshua was already at his car and he got up as he saw me and I ran to him and he hugged me tightly. We stayed there for a few minutes even though I wish we could stay like this we had school. He smiled at me giving me breakfast and I returned the smile. We both got in the car and he drove off. We basically stayed silent but he held my hand and I just tried to prepare myself to fake all smiles today but I probably won't need to because with Joshua, I actually was okay.
