Can I please start by saying that I have done what I told myself I'd never do...
I wrote a teen fiction
*screams of terror*
Personally, I despise this genre and I never, ever read it. I feel like teenagers are always presented as incompetent morons who can't make a good decision to save their life.
Which they are, in a sense. Teenagers make a lot of mistakes but I think they deserve more credit than what they're given.
Basically, I grew tired of the 'Virgin Athena meets Xavier the Bad Boy™️' storyline a long time ago.
BUT
I had an idea.
And a wise person once said that you have to write the story you want to read.
So I did.
And I love it.
I hope you guys do too
