"You know what we need in this group? Another girl," I suggested as I stared at the couple across from me. The wind picked up just then and I regretted throwing a tantrum earlier about eating inside.

Today was definitely my last day having lunch outside, and I'm sure a certain someone would be ecstatic about that.

"Why do we need another girl in the group, now?" Brady asked, frantically blowing on his hands and rubbing them together. He was bundled up to his chin whilst I didn't even have tights on under my purple mini skirt. It was safe to say that Brady was exaggerating just a bit.

"First of all, I have lost my only female friend," I stated, pointing to where Zack and Kiko were all loved up, sharing headphones and watching a movie on his laptop.

As happy as I was for my friends, I missed Kiko. It seemed like all we talked about as of late was her relationship with Zack, putting our friendship and the development thereof on the back burner.

It didn't bother me often because I had Brady's delightful company and more frequently, Oliver's.

But on days like today, when Oliver was buried in textbooks and equations in the lab, my codependency on my friends glimmered.

"You know, if you miss him that much, you should just go see him," Brady whispered and my head snapped to him.

"I do not miss Oliver," I said immediately, but soon realized the fact that I assumed he was speaking about Oliver proved his point.

"You were staring at his spot," Brady chuckled, nearly choking on the last bite of his ham sandwich.

I huffed, dusting bagel crumbs off of my hands as I gathered my trash.
