School had let out and it was now time for the volleyball club to begin practice. You raced to the gym and was immediately greeted by the team. Kuroo must have told them about you being the new manager because it seemed like they had been expecting you.
Lev had been talking to the shorter boy from before and seemed to notice your presence. He didn't break away from his conversation as he began to watch you and the team that swarmed you.
Kuroo began to introduce you to everyone and slowly, but surely you began to learn everyone's names and become familiar with their personalities.
You watched from the sidelines as the boys began to practice. You had been dodging balls that flew towards you and received constant apologies. Coach Nekomata began to educate you on each of the roles and their purpose. It didn't take you too long to understand what has happened.
The boys were called to a water break and immediately the Libero approached you. It was the same boy that seemed to be close with Lev.
"Hey, I'm Morisuke Yaku, call me Yaku though. Anyway, you must be the new manager. It's y/n right?"
"Yep!"
You gave him a friendly smile and he returned on to you. He began to hold a conversation with you about Lev and why you should probably watch out for him.
"He's extremely clingy, but if you're into that I guess you don't have to worry.
You hadn't really noticed how clingy he really was. Every day he would call or text you. Whenever Hinata broke up with you, he came to your house every day. Now that you're attending Nekoma he is always in the immediate area.
You felt watched again and Yaku questioned why you were acting strange. You just told him it was nothing important, but he kept asking, determined to get it out of you.
You finally told him that someone keeps watching you through the day and was staring right now. He shrugged and said it was probably just Lev like it wasn't a big deal.
You pushed it off and waved goodbye to him as practice began to resume. You took this opportunity to distract yourself from whoever kept watching you and just watched the boys.
Before you knew it practice had ended and you helped the boys clean up. Kuroo had informed you about your jacket that coming in tomorrow. You thanked him before turning your attention to Lev who was walking up behind you.
"Hey."
You stated blandly. He returned a greeting, but it seemed like he was happier to see you. As soon as you had finished up what you were doing, he immediately held on to you. Wandering eyes noticed him holding you and began to talk. Embarrassed, you tried getting Lev to let go. He refused and told you to let them talk.
Eventually, you escaped his grasp, Kenma and Kuroo waited on you so they would walk you to the bus station. You told Lev goodbye before quickly walking out of the gym.
"What was that about?"
Kuroo asked confused about the affection Lev gave you in front of the entire team.
"I have no idea."
You replied, your voice a bit shaky. Kenma suggested the idea that maybe he wanted to make other guys jealous.
"I mean you are attractive, so that's probably the most logical reason he would do something like that."
You simply agreed. You began to feel watched yet again. This time there were no people besides you, Kenma, and Kuroo in sight. Whoever it was must have been trying to stalk you and was doing a damn good job at it.
You eventually managed to get home safely. You locked the door and walked to your room. You threw your bag down before noticing a small note in one of the pockets. You took it out and began to read the small strip of paper.
"You're beautiful."
That was it? Whoever it was must be attracted to you then. As Kenma said, Lev was probably trying to make some guy jealous. Maybe whoever the guy Lev is making jealous was watching you.
You threw away the note and brushed away any thoughts about this "stalker". You hated this feeling of being watched and you were thankful it had stopped since you got on the bus and walked home.
It was getting late but you couldn't seem to sleep no matter how hard you tried. You tossed and turned, flipped your pillow, and just sat there. Time began to pass and before you knew it your alarm went off.
You didn't even sleep last night and it was going to show today. Your eyes seemed darker and overall your performance wasn't the best.
Another day passed you by as you continued to get these notes and whoever this mystery person was kept watching you. Kenma and Kuroo were now looking out for you but couldn't seem to spot anyone.
Lev's clinginess seemed to get worse by the day. It began to worry you, but he reassured you that it wasn't anything too important. Yaku began to talk to you more and it seemed like Lev wasn't too happy about it.
You began to look over the notes you had collected. They began to worry you, not because of the compliments, but because of the passive-aggressive attitude.
"You look pretty today."
"Stop talking to him."
"Why do you talk to them?"
"They aren't your friends."
"I'm still here."
"Why don't you notice me?"
"Please notice me."
The notes seemed to get worse by the day. It also seemed like you received more than one per day. You didn't know how to feel about it. Some guy was now stalking you and sending you these notes constantly. He doesn't like your friends and wants your attention.
You gave all of your friends attention so you tried to eliminate some other people. It couldn't be Kenma or Kuroo. Not Yaku. You doubted that it was Lev. You just couldn't figure it out.
You called Tadashi and told him about this stalker and he tried his best to comfort you. Even though you might have switched schools, you too were still really close. Tadashi told you about some stripped carnations* as you just finished speaking about Lev. He told you about them to get your mind off of any negative thoughts you might be having.
He asked if there was any way you had seen Tsukishima recently. You told him no and he began to worry. He mentioned that Tsukishima hasn't been attending school or even practice. Apparently no one has seen or heard from him since the party.
Soon you said goodbye and hung up the phone. It was strange that Tsukishima just disappeared. You were still upset about the things he did to you, but you found it strange how he was nowhere to be found... just like Hinata.
You and Yams talked almost every day, catching up on whatever was happening at your schools. It was nice to talk to your best friend, but with everything happening you were both stressed. Maybe it was best just to try to relax for a bit.
You turned on the tv to check the news only to see another headline about Karasuno. They mentioned Tsukishima's disappearance and a number to call if anyone had seen him.
Damn.
It was like everyone you knew was slowly leaving. You felt guilty that you may have contributed to his disappearance, but you didn't do anything since you last saw Tsukishima.
You hardly felt safe knowing that people were disappearing and you were being stalked. Your friends were the only people you were safe around.
Something is terribly wrong.
{Author's Note}
Crazy stalker, aye? Sounds fun.
