"Why should I have to choose between you and my friends?"

Lev glared at you angrily. He wanted you to choose him over your so-called friends.

"Are you going to decide?"

"I guess I'll just go with you then."

He seemed satisfied with your answer but your friends were furious. Kuroo brought up everything that Lev had done as if it would change your mind.

"How could you possibly want to go with someone who kidnapped you, killed people, and caused you so much pain?"

"I don't know!"

You snapped back at the captain. The boys seemed disappointed in your decision yet wanted to respect your choice. Lev wasn't going to just let them go that easily though.

The police officers tried to arrest Lev which led to them getting stabbed by his knife. They managed to call for backup leaving you and Lev little time to escape the house.

Your friends panicked at Lev's actions while you seemed unfazed. If Lev let your friends go free, he knew they would snitch on both of you. He took each of them down eventually after struggling with them for a good while.

The bodies of your friends and the police officers lied there on the hardwood floor bleeding out. You said goodbye as they began to lose consciousness. Lev stole Kuroo's keys and dragged you to the car.

He quickly started the engine and floored the petal. You panicked at his reckless driving and realized why no one trusted him behind the wheel.

After you both escaped the city limits he brought you to a nice abandoned house. It wasn't luxury but it was decent enough to live in for the time being.

"I'm sorry about killing your friends but I had to do it."

"I know."

~A Couple Months Later~

You hadn't been feeling very well and Lev was concerned. You knew you were pregnant carrying Lev's child and eventually gave birth to a healthy little boy.

To your surprise, as the boy began to grow a bit older you started to question if he was actually Lev's child. He had light brown hair and his eyes reminded you of someone else... someone you used to know and love dearly.

No matter what you had loved and cared for your child. Lev started to act strangely towards your son as he grew older. At this point, you knew this child was indeed Yaku's son. You must have gotten pregnant one of the few times you had slept with Yaku behind Lev's back.

Your son began to question why he wasn't as tall as the other boys and didn't resemble Lev in the slightest. You knew you had to tell him but you wanted to wait until he was a bit older.

Lev practically hated the sight of the boy. It brought back the tragic memories of his best friend's death. The older the kid got, the more like Yaku he looked and acted.

As the boy grew into his teenage years you knew that it was time to confess everything. He already could tell that Lev was not his biological father and questioned where his real dad was.

You explained everything to him and it seemed like he finally began to understand the tension between you and Lev.

You had been falling out of love with Lev and you worried for you and your son's safety. Your son was 15 now and he vowed to protect you if Lev tried anything.

He only had 3 more years of school and would soon become an adult. You knew this would be bad since he had already begun to talk about moving out. Knowing Lev, he wouldn't take too kindly to that.

Lev grew tired of you and your son. He couldn't deal with the sight of him anymore and threatened to kill him. You refused to let Lev hurt your son and you fought him.

Lev was armed with a knife and you had nothing but sheer willpower and determination to keep your son alive and out of harm's way. While you struggled with Lev your son watched in horror.

He wanted to jump in and save you but by the time he reacted, tragedy struck. Lev accidentally stabbed you with the knife. It cut into your neck almost immediately killing you.

You gasped for air as blood began to spill from the gash in your trachea. You didn't last much longer as your son ran to you, holding you in his arms. You wondered if this is how Yaku felt when you ran to his side to comfort him in his final moments.

"I... love you... I'm sorry-"

You felt your eyes begin to close as you lost consciousness. Your life flashed before your eyes and an image of Yaku appeared before you.

You approached the winged boy seeing if he was real. His feathers tickled your face as he brought you into a warm embrace. You could finally be with your lover after all this time. He took your hand as you both faded into the beautiful cloudy paradise.

Together you looked down upon the earth and watched as Lev lost his sanity. He eventually killed himself leaving your son all alone. Instead of going to look for Lev, you had caught up with your friends.

You could finally see everyone again. Tsukishima, Tadashi, Kuroo, Kenma, and Hinata gathered near you and Yaku as you all bonded once again.

Finally, I can be in peace.
