it's been a few months since ben and max's coronation. the siblings have been way too busy to make time for anyone, everyone did notice ben's stress at one point but oh! how max was amazing at hiding it behind a fake smile, speaking of max. the queen had been gone for about two months and a half in arendelle, working for her queen duties. auradon hasn't seen the girl in a long time, nobody really thought of it until the day ben got the news maxine was coming back with her new friends. he wondered who the friends were because apparently she had grew a large bond with them, maybe even a better one than her and ben. which did kind of worry carlos because she hit the group up once and a while telling her how she's been. although for some reason, he found himself distracted by jane. anyways it was today, the day she comes back so that explained why more and more reporters came today. the school dorms were somehow full, that or some kids were just too selfish to share it with new kids. he roomed riley with mal and evie, and isadora with jane and lonnie. he roomed lucas with jay and carlos since they already did know each other, and farkle and josh with doug which was kind of a good idea. though max quickly requested to have three window seats and each other's locker right next to each other for some reason. he got right on that and it did annoy the roommates but let it slide. ben walked into jane's room, which revealed carlos and her laughing and were. not gonna lie. close too each other but he didn't think too much of it. they were very close friends. "oh hey ben!" carlos said, scooting away from jane a little. "yeah uh hi. can you guys come down around noon?" he asked, "why?" jane chuckled. "max is coming back today with her friends." ben said, carlos's head perked up.

"is that why we got new roommates?" jane asked, leaning on carlos a little. ben nods, "she's actually coming back?" carlos asked, ben raised an eyebrow. "yeah. she told me she texted you a few days ago about it." ben said, carlos furrowed his eyebrows taking his phone out. realized he hadn't answered her this whole week, because. he didn't wanna admit but him and jane have been hanging out a lot more, parker knew of course but he didn't really care. he thought they were just that close for best friends. "she did? oh! she did! right." carlos nervously chuckled, ben hummed. "i'll see you in a bit." ben said, waving them off with a smile and exiting out. jane never thought about it but she felt a little upset when she heard that max was coming back, like she just wanted him too himself. she shook it off knowing she shouldn't feel this way, "well. imma get ready, bye jane!" carlos said smiling, she nods. "wait carlos!" she called out, he turned around and she gave him the usual kiss on the cheek everyone knew about but didn't ask. he smiled and exited, as he left. he felt himself grow a little nervous, he hasn't seen his princess in a long time and worse, they haven't actually talked properly on a phone since like last month. when he entered his room, he looked at the window seats he still never got used too and saw his other princess, reese, jumping on his bed.

he couldn't help but feel a little guilty knowing he and her momma weren't really as they seemed. "daddy! i see momma today!" she jumped happily, he forced a smile. "i know reece's cup! you excited?" carlos asked, running to the bed and carrying her around the room as she giggled. "yeah! i haven't seen her for like." she stopped and counted her fingers, putting up three fingers. "in like five years! i never see mommy anymore." she over exaggerates, carlos laughed at his girl. "let's get ready. we have to be down by noon!" he said, she smiled nodding. after getting ready, it was about eight minutes until noon. he looked outside the window, everyone was gathered around happily waiting for the amazing queen. of course auradon was proud of her, she'd been getting more powerful and powerful every day. he stepped away and looked in the mirror, taking a long breath. "hey carlos! you ready?" olaf walked in, carlos turned slightly smiling. he nods, "come on!" olaf said, "reece's cup!" carlos called out, reese came out with dude beside her and pascal on her shoulder. carlos grabbed her hand and they walked down to the entrance.
