after the whole situation, they all just continued to have the party like nothing happened although it would always be an unforgettable royal night. carlos and max were standing alone together, leaning on the railing looking at the water. "well this was definitely a strange but fun ride." max pointed out, he laughed nodding. "yeah uh i had fun a little, got a little isle in me again." carlos replies looking at her as she playing with the rings on her fingers, admiring them. "uh max." he called, she hummed in response looking at him. he took a breath, "about the few other days, i really didn't mean to hurt you. i regret everything i did, i'm so so sorry—" "carlos. it's okay." max giggled, his eyes lit up. "i told you it was okay. i guess some of this is on me for not being so available to you." max chuckled, "listen max. i um. uh. i. really love you. and it's weird, i've never felt like this before considering i'm from the isle and we don't really do dating on the isle. so this is my first time, so sorry if i'm messing up so much." max giggled, "carlos, you're rambling. i said it was okay." max gave him a cheeky smile, "yeah right i know that but. i guess what they say is true, love makes you crazy. again, i'm really sorry. i'm new to this whole thing, i ruined my chance i think. you know, i was doing everything all wrong." carlos explained, scratching the back of his head once he realized he was ranting again.

"no, you're just an idiot bub." max smiled, carlos fake gasps, shoving her a little. "bub. i missed that." carlos says breathlessly, max grinned putting her hands around him as she snuggled into his chest. he took a second and wrapped his arms around her as well missing the feeling of her presence just being there. he smiled closing his eyes. carlos forgot about something, hell everyone did. he quickly released, "i'll be right back." he says, kissing her forehead. she nods as he ran up to ben sadie evie and jane. "ben!" the four all turned to him, ben raised his eyebrows. "your present, you forgot." carlos said, pointing to the covered surprise right next to mal's. ben's eyes widen, so did jane and evie's since they all helped on this. "oh right!" ben said, running up to lumiere and whispering something in his ear, as he comes back down smiling.

"and now, for another unveiling of king ben's masterpiece with the help from evie, jane, and carlos. designed for the beloved maxine!" lumiere called out, max raised an eyebrow turning around. she walked towards the middle, everyone staring at the covered gift. once the guards took off the covers, everyone gasped in happy shock. max slightly gasped, she stared at the gift. it was so beautiful, "no way." she whispered. her friends smiled at her reaction. max continued to admire it putting her hand over her mouth, as she felt her eyes water. it was her in an icy blue long beautiful dress, on the right hand. ice and snow came out, on the left, it was a small fire. then at the corners were golden shiny rapunzel flowers, and them her white magic mist everywhere. somehow there was the isle, arendelle, and auradon beside each other, behind her. representing she was from all those places.

her hair was when she first met her real mother, an ombré of her blonde hair and her icy hair. then her eyes, were mixed with different colors. it red, pink, blue, and golden all together. it was absolutely just wow, like no words. ben came up behind her, attacking her in a hug. she giggled as tears fell out, ben quickly wiped away the tears. "it's so beautiful ben." she whispered, "got some help." ben winked, "how long did that take you?" she chuckled, "not gonna lie. a solid month and a half." carlos answered, she laughed. "that's going in my room." max mumbled, making ben chuckle. "thank you guys. it's, i have no words." she said, evie grinned. jane whispered something into lumiere' ear again. "this was made to symbolize the future royal advisor for auradon. and queen of arendelle!" he announced, the people gasped at her being queen of arendelle. of course only arendelle people knew she was gonna become queen, you have to go through that beautiful enchanted forest nobody really steps in, except for max and her friends. max and ben hugged, before riley ran up to them to join in. making everyone laugh and follow her.

after the royal cotillion, max and her friends decided to stay to clean up. i mean it's the least they can do after what happened with uma. they had buckets to try to take away all the water, even tried to sweep the water. it did work but it was still soaked, they took down all the decorations and took the food back into the castle's. the guards took the two presents to max's room, and mal's present to wherever. the group were mostly done, as max cleaned her hands. she heard loud stomping and roars coming from the enchanted forest, she turned her head to the forest and arendelle. it seemed she had been the only one who heard it because nobody else noticed before riley approached her. it also seemed she had stared to long, her eyes flashed blue hearing a soft voice.

what caught her off guard was she heard that familiar beautiful angelic sound, except it didn't sound exactly like her mother. it was similar, then a picture of a woman she saw in one of her arendelle books flashed through her mind. it was elsa and anna's mother, max smiled. the voice must be her. 'you're grandfather would've been so proud.' she heard as a picture of her grandparents with young elsa and anna came across her mind, max smiled as her eyes glowed down. "you okay?" she asked, max smiled nodding. she then remembered the ring, she quickly took it out. "your parents told me to give you this, i have the same one but blue." max smiled giving her the small box, riley opened it and smiled at the ring. "it glows when it senses danger, sorry i forgot to give it to you." max smiled, riley nods as an it's okay answer. she put it on, putting away the box. riley took max's hand as they both admired the rings.

"hey. you know anything about our grandparents?" max asked riley, "they passed going through the dark sea. but your mother passed it and found answers. elsa was the fifth element, they'd be proud of our souls peaches. don't worry." riley said setting her head down on max's shoulder, max smiled looking at arendelle. "yeah i know that." max said softly, "well. we better keep our eyes wide open. our life is changing fast, but hey—" "our world, ours now." the two said, with isadora who had joined them. they all smiled at each other enjoying the view. "you know, i kinda miss the rain." riley states, the two agreeing. "i have just the thing for that, let's hope they don't get mad." max smiled, bringing up her hand as isa and riley smiled happily. max used her new ability and waved her hand around before it started to rain softly, riley giggled when they heard everyone either groan and laugh behind them. max turned around, carlos josh sadie and ben all spinning around enjoying the rain. she turned back, before music came on, of course. duh. smackle and riles smiled at her, then held each other's hand.

"la di da da da na. yeah." max started, earning jane parker and lonnie's attention. "everybody loves to tell me i was born an old soul. better keep my eyes wide open. there's so much that i don't know." max sang, jay nudged carlos and ben turning to the three girls. "just another hotel room. never felt so all alone." the girls sang, "i think about my granddad's eyes, and they always send me home." max sang looking at the girls. "i can almost hear him now." max grinned, "gotta make him proud." nodding. "i keep my eyes wide open. bless this ground, unbroken!" the girls all sang with their hearts throwing their hands in the air, making everyone smile. "i'm about to make my way. heaven help me keep my faith. and my eyes wide open!" max continued as all the girls turned around taking some of the groups hands to dance in the rain.

"i can't see two steps ahead of me, when the fog comes rollin' in." sadie sings, "i never thought i'd miss the rain. lord knows how long it's been." riley joined, "this dream burns inside of me. and i can't just let it go." max finishes. "there's still so much that i don't know!" all the girls, like all the girls screamed out. pretty sure the isle heard them. "i keep my eyes wide open! bless this ground, unbroken!" the boys joined them, as they just spun around enjoying this escape they had before getting back into that king and queen life. "i'm about to make my way. heaven help me keep my faith. and my eyes wide open, yeah!" everyone happily sang together, with their arms up in the air. "all i have is just this moment." max started, everyone now giving her the attention as she smiled spinning around. "and i don't want to miss a second." she kept singing, as everyone smiled at her.
"cause it could all be gone in an instant." she sang, "yeah, in an instant!" everyone joined, before clapping to the beat.

"i keep my eyes wide open. bless this ground." they all clapped. "unbroken!" they screamed, jumping, spinning, and dancing in the rain. "i'm about to make my way. heaven help me keep my faith. and my eyes wide open." the boys finally singing together, "i'm about to make my way. heaven help me keep my faith and my eyes wide open." the girls joining the boys. "keep my eyes wide." max only sang, "open." she finished. max smiled watching as the group erupted into cheers and they all continued to have fun in the rain, she turned her head back to the isle bringing up her hand that showed her ring that was glowing. "what? you didn't think this was the end of the story, did you?" winking before sadie pulled her into the circle, dancing in the rain.
