max was in her room, finding the box all the way in her closet full of her isle clothes she hasn't opened since she got to auradon. evie wanted to do her makeup and fix whatever she had of course. once she got the box out, she gave the clothes to evie and a small box filled with her isle accessories. evie looked at them with pure heart eyes before forming her outfit. well, max lived on the wildside, and evie loved everything about it. once she got her outfit done, evie found max laying down eating some ice cream staring at nothing. she knew something happened in the room, "max. get up." evie said, trying to take her arm but she just softly let go. "what'd i do wrong?" max complained, taking another spoon full of ice cream. evie rolled her eyes, "okay. what happened?" she asked sitting down near her feet, max groaned. "the rumors. didn't you hear? jane and carlos." she whined, stuffing her face in her pillow. evie took away the pillow as she pouts. "they kissed?" evie asked, max nods. "oh. i thought that was fake." evie said a little taken aback, "no! we got into a small argument, i said it was okay but we just said things. i knew he was falling for her and i didn't say anything." she said, before huffing. "i shouldn't be feeling like this!" she whined, taking more ice cream. "look. carlos, he's a good guy you know that. this is his first real relationship and you being his first girlfriend, we never dated on the isle so he's gonna have trouble. just try to forget about while we have fun on the isle. you'll feel better." evie smirked, max stopped and looked at her. almost convinced before she whined taking her spoon, "i'm not gonna have him as my date for cotillon. i really wanted him too, i feel bad for parker. he was so oblivious." she complained, evie sighed standing up. max grabbed a pillow and screamed in it, she took it off. "sue me!" she whined again, evie grins looking at her isle outfit then back to her. evie walked over and took her ice cream away from her, placing it on her desk. "you're right. carlos is gonna sue you for looking so good." evie said grabbing her hands, "the isle is different baby. you know that, have fun while you're at it." evie winked, while pushing her clothes on her chest and pushed her into the bathroom closing the door. evie giggled hearing her groan.
max looked in the mirror, scrunching her face. she definitely didn't look like auradon max, arendelle max, or isle max. or madmax. she didn't like it. she took a few seconds looking at her isle outfit and back in the mirror, before grinning and started changing.

"remember when you said that there's no second chance? oh baby, i heard you been hoping you could change the past." she sang, putting her shirt on first. "you miss the longer nights. you miss the long goodbyes. you miss the longer nights." she sang to the mirror, her pants on now putting on her angel boots. smiling a little, she walked out. "well did you ever think that it was hard for me?" evie was setting up her accessories, now putting some on her. "do i get off like nothing happened, nonchalantly?" she sang to her other mirror as evie put on a necklace. "i got you feeling like. i got you feeling right. i got you feeling like." she sings starting to like what evie had done to her, evie smiled and starts brushing her icy blue hair. "that's my shape, i made the shadow." max grins, sitting up a little more. "that's my name, don't wear it out though." she says starting to do her own makeup to make the process faster. "feeling myself can't be illegal, illegal." she sang feeling more confident in herself. evie finished and so did she, max ran to her long mirrors and smiled at herself. "so sue me for looking so pretty tonight." she said looking at herself, feeling a lot better. "wearing your favorite color under the lights." she sang, as evie started putting on more chains loving the look. "for moving on, doing everything right." max sang, as evie put her hands on her arms resting her head on max. hyping max up. "so sue me." she sings, evie joining in. "for being good friends with your friends." the two grinned before grabbing all they need. "and running into you at the place that we met." she sang, looking back into her room and shutting it. walking to isadora's room where the other girls were in. "for being something you can't forget. so sue me." she said
"it's hard to see me on when you've been off as hell. but i'm not gonna dull myself because you dull yourself." her and evie sang walking into the room, riley, isadora, sapphire now hyping her up. "i know it's hard to see. what you don't want to see." she sang getting all the girls to go down where everyone was waiting for them, complaining at why girls take so long. "i know it's hard to see." she sang as the girls started walking next to her now all feeling confident in themselves.

"that's my shape." max sings, "i made the shadow." the girls joining her. "that's my name, don't wear it out though." they sang getting closer downstairs. "feeling myself can't be illegal, illegal." once they made it down, she saw jane and carlos laughing. "so sue me for looking so pretty tonight." she sang watching as jay nudged the boys pointing to the girls. "wearing your favorite color under the lights." they sang, as the girls looked at each other successfully. "for moving on, doing everything right." max smiled at carlos, who awkwardly returned it. "so sue me for being good friends with your friends." max sang, sitting down as they waiting for farkle and lucas to come down. "and running into you at the place that we met. for being something you can't forget." the girls sang, max watched as jane and carlos looked at each other with regret. "so sue me." she sang alone.
"oh, i, i, i guess i'm hard to ignore. pick up that jaw off the floor." she sang, the girls laughing before joining in. "so sue me for looking so pretty tonight. wearing your favorite color under the lights." they sang, "for moving on, doing everything right." though that lyric was a lie, she still loved carlos but she loved the self love energy with the girls. "so sue me for being good friends with your friends. and running into you at the place that we met. for being something you can't forget. so sue me." as they all heard some footsteps coming down. "sue me, baby." max finished, carlos not taking her eyes off of her except when lucas and farkle made it down who looked at everyone weirdly.

"what'd we miss?" lucas asked, "again." farkle finished. max smiled shaking her head, "come on." she said, grabbing her things and strutting out with evie. "wow." carlos whispered, jay patted his back. "better fix you two up before she wants to be an independent woman." jay winked, carlos shoved him a little. "where's josh?" ben asked, "he was kind of nervous so he said he'd meet us there." lucas explained, jay just nods and they all start walking out. "i'll see you later bye." carlos said, "wait!" jane said, he looked at her. "i think you should talk to max." she said, he nods. "i'll try." he answered, before jane placed a kiss on his cheek and running off. he only smiled slightly, dropping it knowing he isn't making much progress to get his max.
