"i'm only coming because i heard sadie and max are with you guys, and i miss max. also josh." cj said, following above them on a rope. "yeah we know." evie said, "and because my brother is being stupid again." she said, letting go of her rope taking it with her. as she landed right in front of them, at the end of the alley. she heard footsteps, they all did. and in the dull light, they saw max, a red head, and carlos. "hey cj." sadie and max said, cj flashed them a smile. "okay so what did my brother do? all i heard is he listened to uma, so he must be stupid?" cj said, sadie giggled a bit. "they took max's brother." she answered, cj rolled her eyes thinking about her dumb older brother. "okay let's go. always got to clean up his mess for him." cj said, grabbing her rope. they looked at each other and followed her out. when they left the gates and it closed, some sighed in relief. "place was creepy." jay muttered, "you should see it when it's busy. i never come out if my house." sadie says, cj nods. "you should see it at 3 am. creepy on a whole other level." cj responses, max shut her eyes remembering the fun nights when she used to rule that part with cj, josh, sadie, and serina. they used to be close until she left, and uma got into her head.

they finally made it to the hideout, mal asking who sadie was. she knew who cj was obviously, "there's no way we're gonna give uma the wand." sadie paced around the room, "we can't just let her destroy auradon." evie said, "one reason why i didn't join them." cj mumbled, already used to this by now. "uma doesn't get the wand, then ben is toast, guys." carlos said, "right, so, we're gonna give uma, of all people, the wand." evie replied. "and the second uma tests it, she'll know it's fake." evie pointed out, "well, okay, so then we just get ben out really fast." jay said, "we need some kind of diversion." sapphire said, "smoke bombs!" jay yelled. "that's perfect! and max, sadie, and cj could do some tricks." mal said, cj smiled actually feeling included for once in a group. "i'll get the chemicals i need from lady tremaine's place. that could work." evie said. "oh, and sick hair by the way." the girls complimented their hairs, touching max's, mal's, and sadie's. while cj fell in love with riley's soft hair and evie's blue hair. they all fell in love with sapphire's shiny hair.

the boys stood on the other side annoyed, jay and parker coughed. "hello!" carlos said, the girls all turned. "oh right!" cj said, josh smiled. "carlos, jay, lucas, you guys meet us at pirates bay. no later than noon. the rest just meet there as well, and don't get caught. we got enough hell and i'm feeling confident. and, you guys, losing. not an option." mal said, the group went quiet slightly proud of themselves. mal stuck her hand out, and motioned for all the others to join even if they weren't vk's. evie smiled. "cause we're rotten." she started, "to the core." they all said, mal smiled. "let's do this!" sadie said, as they all separated. evie, mal, max all walked to dizzy's place.
