"if you guys never would have brought them here, this never would have happened. plus the rest of them. what were you thinking?" mal complained, they all stood in the hideout. "he was gonna come with or without us. we just wanted
to protect him." evie answered, "yeah, and we completely blew it, guys." carlos sighed, "okay? what are we gonna do?" max asked. mal shakes her head, "we are not doing anything. this is between uma and me. and she's a punk. and guess what? now i have to go get him." mal argued, "woah. woah. woah. mal. you're still gonna have to go through harry hook and his wharf rats." carlos says, "yeah, you're gonna need us." jay said, max scoffed. "uma said to come alone." mal finished, "mal, come on." evie tried, "she said to come alone. i know one thing. i'm not going anywhere." carlos said, as some of them took a seat. "we'll be here when you get back." jay says, everyone except max sat down. she looked out the window then back at her ruby necklace, she may or may not be thinking to go see her half sister just for some help since their family didn't really like uma. max nods and walked to josh, "josh. i'm gonna try to get sadie to help, i know you wanna see cj and so do i." max whispered, everyone looked at her. josh nodding standing up, "woah. where you going?" carlos said, standing up. "getting some help and some information." max answered.

"max." evie called out, she looked at her. "are you going back to the wildside?" evie asked, "only place i find the help i need. plus i've got some weapons there." max shrugged, jay nods. "it's the wildside. can you at least bring some people?" evie asked, max sighed. "it'd make me feel safer. i know how it works around there but you have to stay by me, there's barley any light there at this time. you can get lost." max explained, evie nods. "jay, carlos, and parker and i will go with you guys. you guys all stay here, alright?" evie says, the four stood up and nodded. max walked down looking around, as everyone followed behind her. she gulped nervous to face her people, "okay. cj is around that corner, there's a bunch of pirates there. i won't take long." max said, "carlos. go with her when we get there." evie gritted her teeth, he sighs nodding. "okay. let's go." max said, they followed her to some corner they've never sent before. the group all stopped seeing some sort of electric broken fence that doesn't actually work, the place was dark and creepy. evie and carlos looked at each other, now feeling a little worried. max knew there would be body guards there, she took her foot and opened the gate a little. she walked in, looking to the side feeling a shadow. max spun around kicking him, he groaned. "it's max. don't hurt anyone! i'm just getting sadie." she said, as the group jumped back a little. "oh. alright, we'll keep watch." one of the others guards say to the left, making the group jump to the other side. max laughed before walking off, the group running behind her. she was right, the place was dark and you couldn't really see the people who walked, you heard their footsteps. the people would just glare at them, max stopped peaking her head at the corner. a pirate blocking it, she told them to stay and shush. she slowly walked behind him and kicked his leg, making him fall back. he turned, his eyes widening at her glowing eyes as he ran away. the group went behind her, "ok josh. you remember right?" max asked, he nods and started walking with the rest of them except for carlos.
