Chapter Twenty-Four

Yeji's POV

I drove back to my house after I dropped my princess Lia home. 

I proceeded to the kitchen to make myself dinner. Afterwards, I plopped onto the couch in my living room, watching Netflix.

I widened my eyes as I realized I forgot to text Lia. I opened my phone up and went to Messages to chat her. I scrolled down our messages sent before, reminiscing the times when she wasn't "eating well." I smiled, and wondered how these texts got us together.

I blushed in embarrassment, because I already ate. I turned my phone off, knowing that she's still eating. I sighed, turned off the television and went to my room to study.

After two hours of reading ancient stories, analyzing riddles and solving mathematical problems, I took off my reading glasses and brushed my teeth. I changed to my pajamas and lied down on my bed, bouncing the mattress.

I opened my phone and sent Lia a quick text.

I smiled as I switched off my phone. I put it on my bedside table and turned off the lamp. I slid down on my bed, lifting up my blanket covers and staring at the roof. After a few minutes, I dozed off to sleep.
