Thirty- Five

Yeji started to notice how distant she became with her girlfriend.

She glanced at Chaeryeong,who was running around the field with Yuna on her back. They laughed happily.

She diverted her attention to the couple beside them, who was ignoring each other. Chaeyeon just kept on walking, and Ryujin played with her phone.

Yeji raised her brow. She glanced back at Chaeryeong who was looking at her sister, visibly worried.

"Unnie, can we talk?" Chaeryeong asked her sister.

Chaeyeon seemed surprised but followed the younger of them nevertheless.

Yeji sighed. "I think we need to talk to you too." Yeji asked Ryujin. Ryujin just followed her wordlessly. Yena and Jisu looked at each other.

"What was that?" Jisu asked.

"Chaerry noticed that Chaeyeon unnie looked kinda off these days. And that Ryujin and Chaeyeon were not their usual selves." Yuna explained.

"That's true..." Jisu trailed off.

"Hold on." Jisu suddenly said.

Yuna raised her brows on her, curious as Jisu started to widen her eyes and obviously starting to giggle.

"You called Chaeryeong Chaerry-ALSNDJAKK" Jisu got cut off as Yuna covered her mouth.

Many people stared at them in amusement

"Shut up!" Yuna said as she smacked Lia's arm and hid her face with her hands as Lia continued laughing and teasing her for their pet names for each other.

"What's wrong with you and Chaeyeon unnie?" Yeji started.

"We broke it off." Ryujin said, looking down.

"What?!" Yeji exclaimed.

"We, we both fell out of love. I don't know how it happened, but next thing we knew both of us started to get attracted to girls in our sections. Chaeyeon admitted to, but we're still kinda down, and trying to move on. And will you lower your damn dragon voice?" Ryujin explained and got annoyed as she said the last sentence.

Yeji apologized and processed all of the info Ryu gave her.

She knew something was off with the couple, but she never knew a breakup was coming.

Sometimes, it happens. Some love stories isn't like a fairytale.

This is what happened to the talk of Chaesis. Yeji and Chaeryeong both gave encouragement to Ryujin and Chaeyeon and urged them to do a proper closure so there isn't too much pain, guilt, and regret.

So Ryujin and Chaeyeon spent all afternoon talking to each other, and finally a proper closure.

"Thanks for today, unnie. I feel a lot better now." Ryujin smiled at Yeji as she, Yeji and Jisu walked towards their dorm.

"No problem, there goes your dorm." Yeji smiled back

"Okay, unnie, have a good night and thanks again, see you tomorrow!" Ryujin smiled as she waved at her and disappeared into the building.

Yeji waved back and proceeded to walk towards their shared dorm.

"Uh, Jisu?" Yeji started.

"Yeah?" Jisu replied

"Are you free tomorrow?" Yeji asked.

"Yeah, why?" Jisu said as they stopped.

"U-uh I was wo-wondering if you and I could go on a date?" Yeji asked nervously.

Jisu stared at her and broke into laughter.

"Of course you can. I understand that you have noticed we were distant these days, so I would like to go out with you more often." Jisu smiled.

Yeji's face beamed in happiness as she kissed Jisu's forehead and intertwined their fingers as they continued to walk towards their shared dorm.

(plus Jisu's flustered tomato face)

Tomorrow's going to be great. Yeji thought.

Well you kinda expected Chaeyeon and Ryujin's breakup. Since I stanned IZ*ONE, I realized the pair was kinda weird and Heejin/Hyunjin from LOONA actually fit Ryujin more because of their friendship, I apologize 😬 Hope you enjoyed :)) im sorry for he confusing storyline too please bare with me- ASJDHSJSSK
