Chapter Twenty- Eight

Lia's POV

Weeks passed quickly. Our relationship, with my Yeji, is going stronger, so is Chaeyeon and Ryujin.

Yuna and Chaeryeong started dating, in ways that Yuna is too embarrassed to say.

Flashback

"Psst!"

I looked around the corridors, wondering who called me.

"Psst! Lia unnie!" Someone hissed again.

I saw a blonde, signaling me to come.

"What do you want, Shin? You just texted me to come to the CR to make fun of me?" I crossed my arms.

"I can take this any longer. I-I wanna confess to Chaeryeong." Yuna fidgeted her fingers shyly.

"And? Why am I involved?" I asked again,my hands now on my hips.

"Help me, please." Yuna knelt down on the floor, holding my palms. I was shocked.

"You crackhead, stand up." I told Yuna and helped her up.

"No." I blankly replied, faintly smiling seconds later.

"Pleaseee..." Yuna said, with her infamous puppy eyes.

"No." I smiled, starting to walk back to my classroom.

"If you won't help me, I won't help you with Yeji unnie's birthday a week away." Yuna said, and I suddenly halted. I turned back.

"That... is a good idea. Meet me at the cafe we hang out always after school."I instructed her,walking back to my class again.

"Okay, thanks again, unnie!" Yuna shouted, waving her hands at me.

After school, we met in the cafe as planned, and we discussed the plans.

"Are you sure unnie? I'm too embarrassed to do this." Yuna sulked.

"Listen here, young lady, I ain't a cupid and this is all I could do. So if you want my help, either you can take my idea or do yours." I told her.

"God, fine! You win. So, Saturday?" Yuna asked, and I nodded.

Time passed by... and it was Saturday morning.

Me and Yeji headed to Yuna's house. She knew our plan, and gladly she didn't tell Chae yet. We dropped by to Yuna's house.

"Here." I handed Yuna the plastic bag with clothes. Yuna hesitated, but shakily accepted it. She went into the restroom and changed.

When she went out, me and Yeji burst out into laughter.

"HAHHAHAHA you look cute!" Yeji shouted as she pointed at Yuna, taking continuous pictures at her who was wearing the bunny mascot.

"Shut up. Let's just go." Yuna said,as she grabbed the bouquet of flowers, and we assisted her to the car. She was a little too big, but we managed to fit her in.

We arrived at the park. We signaled Yuna to wait in the car as we approached Chaeryeong who was sitiing on the bench.

"Hey!" I greeted.

"Hey, where's Ryujin and Chaeyeon?" Yeji asked.

"They couldn't make it. They're probably busy on their bed." Chaeryeong shrugged. "Anyway where's Yuna?" Chaeryeong asked.

"She's comin'." Yeji said as she subtly signaled Yuna to get out of the car. Me and Yeji both stepped aside as the bunny came through.

"May... I help you?" Chaeryeong confusedly asked the girl in the bunny mascot in front of her. Yuna then knelt, took off her bunny helmet and pulled out a bouquet of flowers.

"Will you go out on a date with me, Lee Chaeryeong?" Yuna asked, blushing, her head down. Chaeryeong stared at her in surprise, and held her hands ,smiling.

"Yes I will." Chaeryeong whispered so softly we could barely hear it. 

"AHHHHH MY SHIP!" Yeji squealed as she stopped recording on her phone and rolled down the grass.

"Ah, I'm postin' this." Yeji said as she pressed the 'post button'.

"No! You small-eyed bitch!" Yuna tackled her as they wrestled on  the ground. Me and Chae laughed it off.

End of Flashback

And here we are, bonding with Yuna, Chaeryeong, Ryujin, Chaeyeon and Yeji- just the six of us. A simple birthday celebration for Yeji...

and she loved it.
