Jennie Kim was sitting in her room, a typical friday night. She's just gone from a heartbreak and she's slowly healing. The past few nights she's been crying at this exact time, but right now she wasn't.
Everyday she was getting better and it felt great for her. She looked out to see the moon illuminating the streets. She remembered how her past lover said that when the moon shines over her head she should thank the gods for creating a light for her in darkness.
Jennie loved him so much because he was perfect. The man who she expected to marry, but things dont always go as planned.
He died.
In a tragic accident.
They were perfect, but he goes to leave her behind.
One cold night while he was driving, a drunk truck driver slams into the side of his car. He was gonna meet up with Jennie, and when she finds out she immediately goes to the hospital where he was brought, but she was too late.
He was dead on arrival.
His name still remained in Jennie's mind. Kim Taehyung. A man that she would never forget.
Taehyung's mother gave her a small box from his car. She opened it and saw a diamond ring. Her eyes watered as she realized what it meant. He was gonna propose to her that night, but it didn't happen.
Jennie was hurt, pained even. She was devastated, but she kept on going because she knew things would happen for a reason. If he died and Jennie stayed then she was destined for someone else.
Jennie sat down on her chair and grabbed piece of paper and a pen. She always loved writing letters for no reason.
She starts to write.
To my future spouse,
I hope you are doing well. I may or may have not met you yet, but if haven't I hope I do soon. I know that I am destined for you and my past was simply a lesson for me to be strong. When the time comes and we can meet, I hope you are a person that can make me feel loved and I'll make you feel the same.
I hope I get to see you soon Honey
Jennie Kim.
After writing that short, but meaningful letter, she decides to go to sleep and leave her window open for fresh air to serve as her fan and the moon to serve as her night light.
It was supposed to be a normal night, but fate had other plans. The letter she wrote flew out of the window, and landed on a house's window not far away.
In that house was a black-haired girl under her sheets shedding some tears. Both her and Jennie had been going through tough times at moment. She looks up from her sheets and notices the small piece of paper that was by her window.
She walks and grabs it, reads the letter.
"Jennie Kim? Isn't she my neighbor?" she asked herself and decided that she was gonna go to bed as well.
_____
The next day the black-haired Thai goes onto Jennie's front porch and knocks. She has the letter in her pocket, and she was nervous. She rarely talks to Jennie, simply because she thought that her next door neightbor was gorgeous.
Jennie was looking for the letter when she woke up. She looked everywhere but she couldn't find it. She evetually let it go and continued with her day, but one things circled her mind.
Where was the letter?
She soon heard a knock on her door and when she would open that door. It would be the answer to her question.
