Yoongi and Hoseok found themselves sitting on the edge of the same hill they'd go to when they needed time to think, time to clear their heads and enjoy the silence.
The sun had just set, allowing nighttime to take over their surroundings. Yoongi sucked in a deep breath, enjoying the crisp air that just hugged his lungs whilst Hoseok stared into the distance at the passing vehicles and beautiful lights of Seoul that almost seemed like the countless stars across the night sky.
Wordlessly, they both enjoyed their time together in their own way. Yoongi smoking a nice cigarette and Hoseok drinking a bottle of soju. Perfect duo, some said.
"So." Yoongi mumbled, breaking the silence that hung around them.
"So?" Hoseok questioned, raising a brow at the sudden attempt of dialogue.
Yoongi paused, letting out a low chuckle at the boy's oblivious self.
"Did you ask him yet?"
The question finally seemed to hit the right spot since Hoseok had stopped breathing for a brief moment before he mustered enough strength to mumble out the response Yoongi was eagerly waiting for.
"Oh- I mean, yeah! I-I did!" Hoseok laughed nervously, the faint blush going unnoticed despite the fact that it was nighttime. Yoongi saw it as clearly as day.
"What did Jimin say?" Yoongi smirked his way, making the best out of the moment.
He really enjoyed seeing Hoseok like that. All fidgety and blushing, that being solid proof of his love for the boy he had met. It was entertaining.
Hoseok cleared his throat and gulped down the rest of his drink, attempting to seem less nervous under Yoongi's intense glances. "I'm his boyfriend now. Happy?"
A short moment of silence followed until Yoongi's lips curled upwards into a proud-looking smile. Hoseok found himself smiling as well when Yoongi placed a hand on his shoulder, giving it a light squeeze.
"Took you long enough, kid."
Hoseok frowned at that. "You're one to talk? What about you and Taehyung? Poor boy is probably wondering whether you're playing with him or not."
Yoongi took another drag, letting out a satisfied groan as the smoke slipped past his lips and into thin air.
"I need more time." Was all he said before falling silent again, a distant look crossing his pale face.
"Time for what? He's not going to wait forever and you know it, hyung. You can't continue leading him on forever because you're too afraid to admit your damn feelings." Hoseok sighed in defeat at the sight of an indifferent-looking Yoongi who simply twirled the cigarette around his long, bony fingers.
Hoseok was right. Very much so. But what could Yoongi do when he was still lost and confused? He could only hold onto the tiny hope in his heart, desperately wishing for Taehyung to be patient. Patient until he'd be ready to confess.
"I'm aware. More than you think." His voice came out in a low whisper that got carried away with the chilly wind.
"Look. All I want you to do is make sure you don't hurt him. He's too precious for that."
Yoongi sighed. "I don't ever want to hurt him. I really don't."
"Then make sure you tell him how you feel before it's too late."

Taehyung put his apron away and reached out for his coat, eager to go home. All he wanted was to take a nice, long shower and cuddle with Yeontan on the comfortable couch, then maybe ask Jimin for a massage since he felt like a ton of bricks had landed on top of his poor body.
Seokjin had left just a while ago due to a family crisis so that meant he had to make sure everything was in perfect shape and lock the café. Taehyung didn't mind it too much, though it would have been more reassuring to have Seokjin by his side. They usually left together and split ways near the bus station that wasn't too far away from Taehyung's apartment.
Taehyung preferred walking with someone since he could enjoy having a nice conversation along the way but now he was alone.
With a sigh, he adjusted his coat and turned around to switch the lights off but the sudden noise from behind him made him halt. It was way past closing time so who could have entered the place?
"I'm sorry but we closed-" He paused, taking a good look of the male standing tall in front of him without a care in the world.
"What a shame. I really wanted a nice coffee." The man sighed but made no attempt of leaving which only frustrated Taehyung.
"Guess you'll have to come tomorrow. Now please leave." He said, his deep voice reaching an intimidating tone.
The man seemed unfazed by it and only stepped forward, a tinge of anger flashing in his dark eyes but Taehyung wasn't having it. He stood his ground and glared at the slightly taller male.
"Did you not hear me?-"
"Are you somehow involved with Min Yoongi?
The question finally got a reaction out of Taehyung who arched a brow, visible confusion plastered across his face. Who even was this man and why was he asking such a question?
Before he could say something, the taller clicked his tongue. "Tell me where I can find him."
Taehyung frowned. He did not like the way he talked. "Who even are you, first of all? And why are you here, asking me this?"
The man seemed to get more frustrated with each passing second. "I'm his friend. I have something important to talk about with him so be kind, and tell me where he is."
Taehyung had an off feeling and he had chosen to trust his intuition. He couldn't trust a complete stranger.
"Alright, I'm done talking with you. Out, now." He emitted a low growl and grasped the man's arm, pulling him outside and locking the café.
"You little-"
"Have a lovely night, sir." Was all Taehyung said before stuffing his hands into the pockets of his long coat and heading home, leaving the frustrated stranger behind.
Right as he got inside the apartment, he kicked his shoes away and went upstairs, ignoring Jimin who flashed him a slightly concerned look. He needed answers and fast.
Pulling the phone out of his pocket, he proceeded to call Yoongi in order to ask him what had been on his mind all the way home.
It took a while but the older had finally picked up, his raspy voice tingling Taehyung's ear.
"Yes. Something wrong?"
Taehyung sighed and took a seat on the small sofa by the window, rather unsure. Should he tell Yoongi or not?
"Taehyung?" Yoongi's concerned tone brought him back to reality.
"I actually wanted to talk to you about something, though it may sound silly." He said, looking out the window.
"Go ahead."
"Someone who claimed to be a friend of yours came to my workplace and asked about you. Your whereabouts, to be more specific." He started speaking, his voice sounding more serious than usual.
It got awfully silent after he managed to give Yoongi a proper description of the stranger, and he wasn't sure if he did the right thing by telling Yoongi what happened.
"Yoongi?" His velvety voice came out in a low whisper.
"Did he do something to you?"
Taehyung was taken aback, to say the least. "Wait, do you know the guy?"
"He's my brother."
A/N oop, shit just got real 🗿
