'I'll pick you up in about an hour.'

That's what Yoongi had told him during their late night phone call. He wasn't exactly sure what to believe but he didn't think into it too much, simply responding with an excited 'ok' before hanging up and rushing downstairs to greet Jimin.

The other male had just returned home after an exhausting day at work and his expression said more than enough to confirm that. He looked fed up with everything and everyone, barely even responding Taehyung when he'd get asked a question. Taehyung allowed him to go upstairs to his room, freshen up, clear his busy head and come back so they could have a talk.

It was the least he could do since Jimin absolutely despised being pestered, pressured into talking about whatever caused his bad mood. He'd eventually talk about everything by himself, taking his time to relax before doing so. Very much aware of that, Taehyung plopped down on the comfortable couch, right beside the excited Yeontan who wasted no time to jump into his arms and pepper small kisses all over his face.

While making sure to give Yeontan as much attention, Taehyung couldn't help but think about Yoongi and all sorts of scenarios that flooded his mind after their phone call. He said he'd pick him up but why? What for? Maybe a date? That didn't sound bad and it was definitely appropriate given the fact that they were now in a relationship.

Maybe he wanted to take him out properly to solidify their connection and celebrate?

Before he had the opportunity to overthink, Jimin had come back downstairs, looking less grim than before. Dressed up in his cuddly pajamas, he took a seat beside Taehyung and reached out to hug him. That was his way of trying to forget things and feel better. Taehyung didn't mind, casually wrapping his arms around the other.

"Feeling better, Minnie?"

The cute nickname pulled out a giggle from Jimin. "Much better. Thank you."

After munching on some snacks, watching half of a movie and cuddling, Taehyung jolted from his comfortable position when he could hear the obnoxious doorbell. Which could only mean one thing.

Yoongi was here. And he was still in his ridiculous tiger pajamas he had received as a Christmas gift from Jimin, looking absolutely not ready and as an overall mess.

Jimin, who was watching his breakdown for a while, placed a hand over his shoulder and chuckled at his freaked out expression.

"What happened to you?"

"Yoongi said he'll come pick me up. I think he wants to take me on a date and I'm here looking like a mess--"

Jimin shook his head, amusement as clear as daylight across his expression. "Tae. He loves you. Do you really think he cares about the way you look?"

Taehyung had remained silent but the smile taking over his features said more than enough. Jimin was the greatest friend he could ever ask for. He always knew what to say in order to brighten up the mood and make him feel better.

"Now go. Get ready. I'll let him in and keep him company in the meantime."

"Thanks, Minnie."

Was all he said before storming upstairs to his room so he could freshen up and prepare himself for whatever was coming his way.

Taking a shower and choosing what to wear turned out to be more difficult than he expected. On his way to the bathroom, he ended up slipping due to his rushed steps and as he got dressed, he ended up falling. All because of trying to put on a simple pair of jeans.

He was really nervous but somehow excited as well. Just thinking about all the things he and Yoongi would do, places they'd visit, hours they'd spend together as boyfriends and not as friends who crossed some boundaries, made his heart skip a few beats and smile grow wider. He looked forward to whatever Yoongi had in mind.
