Chapter 3 - Annabeth

No no no I thought porphyrion is going to kill my son, he won't. I started running but before I was even halfway a spear shot out of the giants hand sailing strait for my precious boys chest. No, please, I preyed to all the gods hoping one of them would help. The spear was barley a meter from Luke chest when Percy jumped in front and pushed him out of the way. Relief flooded me. Then out of nowhere a massive sea green trident slammed into porphyrion and turned him to dust. Poesidon has come through. I almost collapsed in happiness until I heard sounds of pain and struggle and looked over at Percy and Luke. Luke was cradaling Percy's head in his lap sobbing. The massive spear porphyrion had thrown protruding from percys chest. He lay surrounded my blood, so much blood, my seaweed brains blood. I ran. He couldn't die he'd done so much still had so much to do, but as soon as I reached him his body went limp and still. I screamed. NO please not Percy not my Percy. I shook his shoulders PERCY I YELLED PERCY WAKE UP, COME ON SEAWEED BRAIN. I sobbed He didn't move but he still had a pulse, weak but it was there, I had to have hope, he was my seaweed brain he would survive. Luke go grab the girls we need to get him to camp halfblood.
I rummaged in my bag, nectar I needed nectar, ambrosia ANYTHING. I found some nectar and dripped it into Percy's mouth. Come on seaweed brain COME ON. This will NOT be how you die, I need you. I sobbed what should I do without him, what would the kids do without their father. NO I pulled myself together, Percy is not dead yet I can save him I have to. I heard crying and heavy feet running, I had to be sting my kids needed me, Percy needed me. I dried my eyes as Luke came running back with Charlie bear and seli. They look distraught, they were looking at their father lying almost dead covered in blood in the middle of the street, I scolded myself. I WOULD NOT LET PERCY DIE. I put my fingers to my mouth and whistled. Blackjack flew down from the sky, at seeing Percy he started neighing loudly and bucking, then flew back into the clouds. I fed Percy some more nectar. I had to believe blackjack would come back, he would never abandon Percy like that. Percy opened his eyes and started coughing violently, blood spraying on his green t-shirt. A fresh wave of tears came over me.luke was muttering "it's all my fault" over and over to himself and the girls just seemed to stunned to do anything but cry and cling to my waist. Percy, Percy can you hear me I waited but he seemed confused and disoriented, I hated seeing him like that I could tell he was in excruciating pain but thee was nothing I could do any more nectar and he would explode. Luke, honey I whispered none of this is your fault it's all that giants don't blame yourself, I rubbed his shoulder. Percy, your ok we're gonna get you to will he can help you, we're gonna get you to camp. Just as I said it 2 Pegasi leaped through the clouds with blackjack at the head they landed and I hopped the kids onto blackjack. I struggled to lift Percy, he was slippery with blood and I didn't want to cause him any more pain. I FINALY got him on one of blackjacks friends we're finally on our way to camp. I didn't relax yet Percy kept floating in and out of consciousness, coughing and spitting blood into his shirt. I cradled Percy's head against my chest and held my jacket to his wound he was loosing blood fast, I had to stop it. I was causing him pain I could see it in his eyes but there was nothing els I could do. I love you seeweed brain I wispered into Percy's ear over and over again, your gonna be ok
