Napabuntong hininga na lamang ako nang makaupo ako sa swivel chair ko at tsaka ipinikit ang mga mata ko dahil sa pagod na nararamdaman ko. It's been a week since Mira left the house and until now we can't find her.

"Pirena?" narinig kong sambit ng isang pamilyar na boses dahilan para maibukas ko ang mga mata ko at nakita ko si Amihan sa harapan ko "Anong ginagawa mo dito?"

"I have meeting, Ami"

"Didn't I told you to rest? I already told you that I'll cover for you"

"I appreciate it Ami but --"

"Ate" she said in a serious manner which makes me gulped my saliva twice. I maybe the strict one, the disciplinarian sa aming magkakapatid while Amihan on the other hand is just, a happy-go-lucky woman, open-minded at higit sa lahat maluwag pero kapag ito naging seryoso pati ako tiklop dito. Hearing her calling me Ate sends shivers to my spine, minsan lang kasi niya akong tawagin Ate since isang taon lang naman ang gap namin kaya it's either naglalambing siya o di kaya ay nagagalit siya sa ginagawa ko.

"Diba sabi ko magpahinga ka? Baka mapano ka niyan, tignan mo iyang ilalim ng mga mata mo oh kunti na lang at mapagkakamalan na kitang panda"

Napakamot na lang ako sa batok ko "Panda talaga?"

"Oo Ate kaya please lang kung ayaw mo magmukhang panda, go home and rest"

"Pero babalik pa ako --"

"Ate sa dinami-dami ng hinire mong maghanap kay Mira --"

"Yun nga eh, napakadami nila pero hindi pa rin nila makita ang anak ko Amihan! Their so incompetent!" frustrated na sambit ko "Ilang araw na ang lumipas pero ni isa wala man lang sa kanila walang katiting na lead"

I couldn't help but sighed as I throw myself on the swivel chair. Bago pa ako tuluyan mapaupo ay nahagip na ng mata ko ang picture namin ni Mira sa desk ko dahilan para kunin ko ito "Mira, anak asan ka na ba?"

Lira

"Hi Alex" I greeted Alexandria with a smile as soon as I entered her room. She stops reading the book and look at me, I saw her forehead creases as she asked me "What the hell are you doing here, Lira? Aren't you supposed to be at school? Alam ba ni Tita Ami na nandito ka?"

"Chill cous, isa-isang tanong lang mahina ang kalaban" I said as I throw my bag on the empty couch and sit right next to it "So?" Alexandra said as her eyebrows raised "Care to explain?"

I smiled at her "I just miss you, Alex"

"Hindi mo ko makukuha sa paganyan-ganyan mo Lira. Mira's so busy with school while you on the other hand looks like you have all the time in the world"

"Sh--She contacted you?"

"No but I'm assuming you're busy with school since hindi na siya pumupunta dito. Bakit may nangyari ba? Nag-away ba kayo?"

"Of course not"

"But --"

"But what?" Alexandra asked as her eyebrows raised and I saw her close her book and face me "Lira? What?"

I couldn't helped but bit the bottom of my lips as I manage to look away "Lira, I'm waiting" Alexandra said in a calm way yet I can still feel how impatient she is "Lira?" she called my name with an authoritative tone this time which me looks at her, I can see that she's getting pissed or somewhat annoyed because I am not speaking "Lira!" I jumped out of my sit as I heard my name being called by Alexandra since I was preoccupied of talking to myself if I'm going to tell her the truth or not.
