Luke's POV.

When we stopped walking, I looked through a glass window and saw George. Unconscious, intubated, on IV and on heart monitor. I felt like I was going to cry, because I've seen this many times. I then asked the doctor what happened to him.

Luke: What happened?

Dr. Tan: George's lungs were severely damaged and we put him in a medical induced coma to let his lungs heal. We also detected B. Cepacia in his lungs.

Zoe: Is he tested positive or negative for COVID 19?

Dr. Tan: Fortunately, he is tested negative for COVID 19.

Wendy: Then why did you shove a tube down his mouth?

Raphael: It's kinda scary.

Zoe: Yeah yeah, really scary.

Dr. Tan: Well, as I said, his lungs were severely damaged. He must've developed an infection after a lung transplant. Caused by B. Cepacia, that means we couldn't do a second lung transplant on him.

Yuto: Gee.

We all just stared at George's unconscious body. Blake started crying uncontrollably. Luckily, Reece started comforting him.

Reece: Blake, he'll be fine, he's just in a comatose state. He'll be awake in a few weeks, I think. Do comas last for a few weeks?

Luke: Depends on the condition, can be days, weeks, months or even years.

Dr. Tan: Let's get you lot back to Blake's room. I don't think you're handling it that well.

We followed the doctor back to Blake's room as Reece helped Blake back to bed. Throughout the first few weeks, we would go from our vacation house to the hospital via our HQ. We would even be training newbies because Aren told us to. Before joining us in the force.

Aren: Is everything alright, Luke?

Luke: I'm good, Aren.

Aren: Looks like you're not looking too good, Luke.

Luke: I know, it's just that, I'm going to quit being leader and let Brad take my place. Also Blake and George have cystic fibrosis and they're in the hospital. Also they couldn't get another lung transplant because they have B. Cepacia.

Aren: Everything will be fine Luke, they couldn't help it. Even if events you know are repeating.

Sierra: What Aren said, Luke, everything will be fine.

Luke: I guess.

After a few weeks, we went back to the hospital after hearing news that George is out of the ICU. He has to be in a separate room next to Blake's because CF patients aren't allowed to be in the same room to prevent a risk of cross infection. But they both have the same bacteria in their lungs. Anyways, we are currently in Blake's room, getting him prepared to see George. Reece is helping him to the wheelchair.

Reece: Ready?

Blake: Wait, Dr. Tan told me to wear a mask when I'm going to see George.

Reece: Alright, here it is.

Blake: Thanks.

Blake put on his mask as we entered George's room. He is still sleeping, but he has a one-sided nasal cannula which is different from Calum, Devan, Raphael, Brad and Blake's and he has an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose. He also has an I was scared, but I need to put a brave face for him.

Luke: George, you alright?

I stuttered, George woke up and I saw those blue eyes that look just like Devan, Collins, Troye, mine, Niall, Michael, Robert, Connor, James, Tristan, Roman and Caleb's. But they look sad and dull.

George: What happened?

Wendy: You were in a coma for the last few weeks. We've been training some newbies before joining us in the force.

Rena: Yeah, there are many names here in this list we have trained.

George: I see.

Dr. Tan came into the hospital room.

Dr. Tan: G'day, so I will take out your oxygen mask, George. Alright?

George: Alright.

He took out George's mask and he can talk to us properly. Without having to come out as a mumble or something.

Reece: So why didn't you put them in the same room?

Dr. Tan: Well, I've seen cases like this before and since Blake and George have been admitted here the same time, we shouldn't put them in the same room. They both have cystic fibrosis, that's the real reason, unless there is one exception.

Devan: Which is...

Dr. Tan: If they have the same bacterial infection. They both have B. Cepacia, but George's condition is a lot worse so that's the reason why we decided to put them in different rooms.

Everyone: Oh...

Thaiyo: So when will George and Blake be released?

Dr. Tan: I'd say about tomorrow, George will need to take home an oxygen tank and some breathing tubes for the nose. He needs to be on permanent supplementary oxygen for now. For Blake, he can also be on permanent supplementary oxygen but only at times or when he wants to. But there is something more about his condition, his infection came back but it is not just his lungs being affected, he also has paralysis.

Blake: What?

Blake tried to stand up, but he struggled so he sat down on his wheelchair.

Blake: Dammit!

George: What?

Blake: I can't walk? What?

Reece: During our battle against Chase and Medusa, you were just fine. How the heck could you be paralised?

Blake: I dunno.

Luke: Maybe it's because when Chase and Medusa were possessing you and George, Chase took your ability to walk.

Blake: So I'll not walk forever?

Raphael: No mate, I think you can walk again. I think.

Brad: But we will be getting on a plane back to Sydney, how are we going to get him in the plane with a wheelchair. Even when we planned on a connecting flight via Perth.

Luke: We will ask the airport staff for help, let's just say, we have a disabled person boarding the plane.

Wendy: A disabled person with cystic fibrosis? I dunno if that'll make sense.

George: It does, Raphael also has a disability along with cystic fibrosis.

Raphael: I had a speech delay when I was younger.

George: Never mind.

Luke: I'll go ask Dr. Tan.

I went outside of the room and saw Dr. Tan talking to another doctor. I then went up to him.

Luke: Dr. Tan.

Dr. Tan: Oh hey, are you going to ask me something?

Luke: So are there any possibilities that Blake will be on an airplane? Because he has cystic fibrosis and now he is disabled.

Dr. Tan: He can go on a plane if there are seats available for the disabled. Also make sure you requested pre-boarding because a CF patient's lungs are most likely to collapse on higher altitudes. Why did you ask?

Luke: We will go back to Sydney tomorrow via Perth. By plane.

Dr. Tan: Oh yeah, well, good luck on your trip, mate.

Luke: No sweat.
