City lights brighten darken blue clouds

the sun tucking away once more

she admires next to passing cars

a lifetime before adulthood hit

their tires echoing a childhood before

such responsibilities stressed a headache

like a punch to the gut

without air struggling to breath

grasping for life

while peace is annihilated.
