The falling out

After I saw this the wall that I had built crumbled. I fell to my knees, the coldness of the floor seeping through my sweatpants. My sister stood over me awkwardly, I'm wasn't sure what to do and I'm sure she didn't either. I broke out into even sobs, the sleeves of my jacket becoming wet from my tears. "H-how long did y-you know?" I asked, not bothering to look up.

"Two weeks before the accident?." She said, but it came out as more of a question, almost like she was testing waters. "Why did you take me here?" I asked my voice was blunt, and cold. In that moment I had come to the conclusion that, even though I loved him dearly and I loved him with all my heart, I could care less about him. I convinced myself that he meant nothing, that wallowing in my pity was only making me worse. it would be hard to forget, but it wasn't impossible. I stood up, drying my tears with the back of my hands. I grabbed the canvas setting it back on the easel.
"I thought I would show you what he had been working on before." She said sheepishly.
"Did you think I would care?" I asked. She nodded her eyes meeting mine.

"I-I thought that if just showed you this it would help you."

I turned around waking off toward the corner of the room, I grabbed a canvas. it was medium sized with bright shades of purple and blue. I could feel her eyes on me as I abruptly smashed it against the wall repeatedly. It wasn't till I tried to grabbed another painting that she stopped me grabbing my wrist and pulling me towards the door. "We need to leave before you fuck things up even more. You'll regret that later when-" she cut herself off just before she would say something worth hearing.
"Where are we going now?"

"To the-" I quickly opened the door so I couldn't vomit in her footboard. It tasted vile, the lack of potassium and malnutrion making only stomach acid come up my asophigous.
"Well now we're going to the hospital." she said in a stern voice. If there's one thing I know it's that I don't like hospitals. At. All! Tony always teases me about going to the hospital, even though he was terrified as well.

******Flashback******
"Em, I think you have the flu. Lets take a road trip.... To the hospital." He whispered, a wicked smile plastered on his face.

"You're an ass an I don't have the flu. I'm the one who's in medical school not you." I glared. I stepped out of bed. Walking to the kitchen to get cough drops and chest congestion medicine. Since Tony didn't bother to follow I figured I'd slip some cold medicine in and some laxative. Tony wanted to be a little shit so I figured I'd make him. I swallowed the chest congestion medicine along with the cold medicine. I pulled out brownie batter and the the required ingredients. After I got done mixing and grinding the laxatives I poured the powder in the bowl adding additional chocolate to cover my tracks. Around 25 minutes later I pulled them out of the oven. Leaving them to cool as I knocked back some more cold medicine this time just enough to pass out when my head hit the pillow. I walked back to the bedroom and saw Tony watching a baseball game on the t.v.
"I made you brownies." I smiled laying down beside of him. He turned toward me, his face inches away from mine.
"I would love a brownie but that's not what I'm really craving." He whispered, his eyes getting darker by the minute. I met him half way, his lips crashing against mine. He shifted his weight, linking his arms around my waist. He pulled over him so I could straddle his waist. He hiked my shirt up, his hands roaming my body until he reached my shorts. He hooked his thumbs round the elastic, releasing a low growl.

"Take them off." he whispered. I complied shifting off of his waist. I never broke eye contact as I threw them to the floor. I didn't move. I watched him as he tried to control himself, trying not to grab for me, trying to be patient. He failed within seconds I was straddling him again, his lips making contact with the base of my neck.

"Tony." I whispered. I could feel him smile against my neck, he pulled away. Flipping us over, so he was now hovering over me I reached for the strings of his gym shorts, slipping them off into the floor his boxers along with it. My shirt and bra came off a little while later. The only thing keeping me from him was my panties. He leaned down using his hands for support "I want you so much it hurts. I want to hear you say my name, just in case the neighbors forgot." Our lips met and my fingers slipped in his hair on the nape of his neck, his hand gripping the band of my underwear, taking the last only layer separating us from each other. He entered without hesitation, his face buried in the crook of my neck, nipping at the skin. His thrust were slow at first, gentle, but they only got faster, harder. His name escapes my mouth many times, only making him go faster.
"Fuck, Ember."
I wrapped my legs around his waist wanting to feel closer to him. I watched him crumble above me soon after I did, his expression becoming tired as he laid down next to me.

It didn't last long before he got up and went to the kitchen. I took the opportunity to lay his shorts outside the door before locking it and laying back down, falling into a state of unconscious. It was only three days before the accident.
*end of flashback**
We arrived at the hospital shortly after reliving a precious moment I will never get back. We entered the building, the smell of disinfectants was nauseating. I took a seat near the end of the section of the row of chairs. Kendal came to sit shortly after a clipboard in hand. We sat in silence until she took the board back to the receptionist.
"What do you think is wrong with me?" I laughed. she didn't share my amusement.
"Em, as if it isn't obvious." she sighed tugged at the roots of her hair. "Ember?" A nurse called, I stood up quickly trying to make my way over as fast as possible so I could get away from my sister, but she made to the door before I did. We walked past rooms, most of them vacant, until we reached the end of the hall.
"Right in here" she said.

She left us in there for what felt like years when a man with white thinning hair walked in his glasses hung low in the bridge of his nose. He did the usual, questioning my state of health, checking my ears, eyes, and lungs, he also took blood-much to my dismay. He told us we would get the tests back in two days before leaving the room. He walked us to the front before stopping at the door he nodded before waking into the next room.

Two days later Kendal burst into my room holding the phone to her chest. She was smiling, but she had tears in her eyes as well. She set the phone down on my dresser, walking over to me.

"What's the news." I sighed not really caring about what she would say.
"You're pregnant.." She whispered
