Chapter 61 - Novio

"Hey Christopher."

"Hey Nil-" Christopher started when I opened the door but stopped, his eyes trailing down. My cheeks heated up as he bit the side of his lips with a smile.

Oh my god.

"Eres bella," he said softly, bending down to kiss me. I returned the kiss, smiling.

"You don't look too bad yourself," I muttered against his lips. I pressed another kiss before stepping back, unconsciously checking him out.

Damn, he looks good.

I caught myself and my cheeks turned redder. My eyes snapped up to meet Christopher's but his eyes were still on me. My smile widened as I folded my arms. His eyes met mine and he grinned. He kissed me again, my hand moving up to his shoulders.

"I can't help myself, you look good," he said against my lips. Once we separated, he held his hand out to me. I took it and we walked out.

"Where are we going?" I asked Christopher. After he dropped me off, I had texted him to ask him where we were going, but all he said was I'll tell you later.

"A carnival," he said as we got into the lift. I noticed that he was wearing the leather bracelet I got him for Christmas. My lips turn up in a small smile. We got to the car and when Never Be The Same started playing, Christopher and I sang along to it.

"It's you babe, and I'm a sucker for the way that you move babe," we both sang. I turned to look at Christopher, appreciating his side profile.

A jolt went through me when I realised that I had been comfortable enough to sing around Christopher. I wasn't a good singer and I would only sing around those I'm super comfortable with and can really be myself.

"I can feel your gaze despite those sunglasses," Christopher said, turning to look at me briefly. "And it's making it hard for me to focus on the road."

My cheeks heated up and I turned to look out of the window. Christopher chuckled, bringing our hands up to his lips and kissed my knuckle. My heart skipped a beat when he did that. No matter how many times he's done it, it still has the same effect on me as the first.

"¿Sabes que eres bella?" Christopher asked when we got out of the car. My cheeks heated up as he slipped his hand into mine, interlocking our fingers.

Christopher took out his phone and took a video of us. "Eres bella."

I smiled as I looked at the ground. My hair moving forward to hide my red cheeks

"Mira lo hermosa que es mi cita," Christopher said as he filmed me. I looked up.

"Well, you're also not looking too bad," I said, smiling. He chuckled and we walked towards the carnival.

The carnival was at the beach, so the entrance of the carnival was exactly where the sand ended. When we were queueing, Christopher stood behind me with his hands on my waist. I smiled and snapped a picture of us. He noticed and leaned down, pressing a kiss to my cheek.

He took my phone before whispering. "I love you."

My smile widened as he snapped a picture.

"I love you too."

"I want to go to the haunted house," Christopher said once we got into the carnival. We walked in that direction and saw that he had a small smirk on his face.

"You wanted to go here because you wanted me to hold you tighter, didn't you?" I nudged him.

His small smirk became a huge grin and I rolled my eyes, smiling. "Let's just go in."
