Chapter 32 - Forehead Kisses
"I'll miss you," Christopher whispered into my ear. I tightened my arms around his torso as he rested his cheek on top of my head.
"I'll miss you too," I said into his chest. We had gone out to eat after their concert and we were now outside Andrea's and my car. I felt him tightened his arms around me before we both stood back slightly. He still had his arms around my waist and I had mine around his torso.
"I'm sorry I can't go to the airport on Monday," I said, looking up at him. I really wanted to but I had work.
"It's fine, I understand," he said. I looked at him and he smiled at me. "I'll call or text you before boarding the plane," he added and I nodded with a small smile. This felt like when he was leaving Ecuador for America.
"It won't be another two years before we see each other again," he said and I looked up with a smile. He was thinking the same thing.
"I know," I said and we parted.
"Take care of yourself," I told him and he nodded with a smile.
"You too, Nila," he said. He looked at me for a moment before tucking my hair behind my ears, holding the side of my face. He kissed my forehead before stepping back with a small smile on my his face. Oh my god.
"Bye Christopher."
"Bye Nila," he said and got into the car. Andrea and I got into the car and she drove home.
"It feels like when he was leaving home to go to New Jersey," I admitted to her. She extended her hand and I took it.
"I know, but it's for 3 months before you see him to go back to Ecuador," she told me and I nodded. Three months would be fine, right? I did not see him for two years and we were always together before that. I was only starting to get close to him again so it shouldn't be that bad.

I was doing my work on Monday when I heard my phone beep.
From Christopher:
hey :)
i'm about to board the plane
see you soon :p
From me:
Hey, have a safe flight and see you soon :D
From Christopher:
thank you
i'll miss you :(
From me:
I'll miss you too
But we'll see each other in 3 months
From Christopher:
i'll be counting down. see you :p
From me:
See you :)
Sighing, I kept my phone and continued with my work. I would be counting down too.

hope you've had a good day

Hey, good morning to you
I've had a good day
Have a good day today :D
From Christopher:
i miss you
see you in two months
From me:
I miss you too
See you in 2 months

"I want to dye my hair," I told Andrea and she paused the movie we were watching to turn to look at me.
"You're not doing this because you miss Christopher right? It's only a month until you see him," she told me and I shook my head.
"It's not that big of a deal and I've never done anything to my hair so I want to dye it," I said and she looked at me.
