The journey had taken quite a long time. Emi had eventually conquered the mountains of black and white. She'd been exhausted after finishing the Hokage's work for her. She'd hoped she'd done everything correctly. Her wrist and neck were sore. Lady Tsunade had left some time ago and was just now returning, a bad of money in her hand. Emi got up and let her have her seat.

"Wow, you did better than I'd expected. Alright then, you can go on a mission similar to your last one," Tsunade began, "Find out the whereabouts of Orochimaru and Sasuke Uchiha."

Emi nodded and was dismissed. She knew that name from somewhere. Sasuke Uchiha... She remembered now, it had been in the files from the original mission she'd attempted to accomplish. She was exhausted and decided to head out tomorrow instead of leaving on low battery. She returned to her apartment. As she prepared to go inside, she saw Naruto sulk into his own home. She wondered what'd happened.

After some well deserved rest Emi packed her things and set off out of Konohakagure. Her first piece of intel she'd received noted a man matching Sasuke's description at the border between the Land of Fire and Hidden Sound Village. He'd been gone for quite some time apparently. She recounted her own travels for a moment to figure out where he could possibly be.

He could go straight to Otogakure or Uragei or Yugakure. A more recent report noted he'd battled in the Valley of the End with Leaf shinobi. Yet, this was quite a long time ago. Two years or so had passed. It's been noted that hisgoal was to reach a certain person known as Orochimaru. The files on Orochimaru were quite disturbing. She headed North in an teempt to reach Otogakure. Perhaps she could find someone that could point her in the right direction.

It took her quite a long time, but she's finally arrived. Otogakure was... strange. It confused her. The village was more filled with tunnels and underground facilities than she'd have expected. Her intital approach to it had caused some problems with the shinobi. They'd threatened her and demanded to know who she was and where she'd come from. She'd been captured and taken into a cell of sorts. It hadn't gone quite as she would have expected.

She hasn't fought against them. It would have been much more trouble to fight than to cooperate and understand what was happening in the village. After a few hours She was escorted from her cell and taken to what seemed to be a medical facility. It was strange. A man with silver hair was there. He had circular glasses.

"Ah, welcome," he said, the guard locking her flat onto a metal table.

"Hey, I think there s been a misunderstanding here. I'm Emi-" "Emi Hinigami. I know. I can't believe I finally have a chance to see someone with the Yokubo," the man said, coming towards her, during in hand.

"Wait what are you going to do to me?" She asked, fear creeping into her eyes.

"I just need some samples for my work and then-" "Samples? What kind of samples?" She asked, interrupting him.

The man inserted the syringe into her arm causing her to bit her lip. Her blood was extracted and she looked at this man. His eyes were dark. He looked young too.

"Who are you?" She asked as he pulled away from her arm.

"Wouldn't you like to know," he said in a very sarcastic tone. He returned and the table positioned her body to lay vertical.

"Now if you would, activate your Yokubo," the man told her.

"No," her voice grew cold. Now she finally understood that she was really in danger. It's taken some time but she's realized this man had been noted in her mission filed as Kabuto, an assistant to Orochimaru.

"Well," he grabbed her face threateningly, "There are ways I can make you activate it."

She bit down on his hand, causing him to hit her jaw with a loud crack. She clenched her jaw, pain shooting through her jaw and up to her head. He grabbed her throat and leaned very close to her face.

"You can either give me what I want willingly and live," he whispered, "Or I can take it and you die."
