Emi had left much earlier than she'd intitally planned to. She couldn't sleep very well. She's been travelling for a few days now, South towards the coast. There weren't many towns around. It wasnt until a possible week later that shed settled in a coastal town, a days trip to the edge of the coast. She entered a bar and grill, taking a small seat to herself at the side. The table had been made for two, but she sat alone.

She'd ordered black tea, something bitter to wake her up. She was tired of sleeping on so many different mattresses. She was currently couped up in a very tiny room with a very thin bed. She needed more money soon. She also needed to check in with Konohakagure soon.

"That couple that's staying at the inn, don't they seem a bit odd to you?" Emi overheard some young women gossiping.

"The girl was just mad I tell you! That boy, quite the looker," one stated.

"Didn't the girl call him Sasuke? Quite a name for quite the character," another lady purred.

Emi paid for her drink quickly and headed to the inn. It wasn't the same she stayed at, hers was less expensive. She noticed as a red haired young woman exited the front door, followed by Sasuke Uchiha himself. The two headed out of town, going North. The woman was quite boisterous. She clung to Sasuke a lot. Just watching the display was uncomfortable. They gathered supplies on their way and and Emi followed quite bit farther behind.

Once they exited the village, Emi continued after them. Not wanting to reveal herself, she took the paths that allowed her to hide if need be.the two did not stop to rest until it was too dark to continue on. Emi did not sleep much that night, dozing off here and there. She didn't want to lose sight of them. She blogged high up in the trees, another reason she attempted to stay awake. Sasuke did not sleep much that she'd observed. He would stare blankly at the fire, his face lit by the orange flames. He'd retained his features from all those years ago. She was starting to remember a lot more, familiarizing herself with the people she'd lost touch with. However, as she remembered it, Sasuke was new when she left, so she never really got to know him.

He hadn't been spoken of when she was at the village, training. She wondered why he'd left in the first place. From her files on him, she'd pieced together someone who had a goal. That was it. She didn't have much of an opinion on him. He was average looking in her opinion, he seemed skilled. She remembered that time in Otogakure. Maybe he was kind? However, the Hell he'd placed her under would balance that action out.

"I know you're up there," his voice pierced the silence, "Unless you want to die, you better show yourself." Emi stayed silent and did not move. Sasuke did the same.

"Sasuke...?" The woman woke up, very dreary.

"Go back to sleep Karin. You'll need your strength in the morning," Sasuke said, not looking at her. The woman, Karin, went back to sleep.

He stood up. He wore a loose outfit of possibly white and some dark color for the bottoms. His eyes turned a vibrant red, glowing like a demon. He scanned the surrounding area and froze on her.

"It's you," he said, his tone not dare betraying any emotion.

Emi made her way down to him. He instantly grabbed her up.

"Why are you here?" He asked, his grip deathly.

"I... I'm-" "You're from the Leaf. You're lucky I don't kill you. Don't lie, or I really will make you wish you were dead," Sasuke interrupted.

"My name is Emi Hinigami. I'm supposed to find you and keep the Leaf updated on your actions and whereabouts," she stated.

"Well, you won't be doing that then," he held something to her throat. The darkness kept her from seeing what would be the weapon to kill her.

"Wait," she said, fear in her voice. He did not move, and she continued, "I can be useful! I won't contact the Leaf. You can keep me prisoner or whatever. Just please, don't kill me."
