EPISODE 19: Please Don't Kill Me

Tobi placed a hand on Deidara's, and squeezed, causing him to release Emi. She shrank away and Tobi patted her head.

"What the Hell was that?" Deidara exclaimed.

"You're not going to hurt Starry Girl," he suddenly clung to her, and she felt very terrified for some reason. She felt his strength in his body, even through his clothing. If he wanted to, this man could kill her.

"She's a Leaf Shinobi!" Deidara exclaimed.

"She's my friend now!" The two began arguing, Tobi being childish.

Emi looked up at his head. From what she could see, he wore a dark turtleneck under his cloak. The mask he wore covered his face so snug that she couldn't even get a peek of skin. She did take notice that his hair was black. That was all she could pick up other than his firm build.

"What is so special about her?!" Deidara exclaimed, waving around his good arm. She tuned back in to the argument.

"I think he-" Deidara looked to her, anger in his eyes, "I think he means I have a rare kekkei genkai."

"Oh really, and what would that be?" Deidara asked, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"It's called Yokubo," she began, but Deidara interrupted her again.

"Only the Hinigami family had that. The last one died a long time ago, There S no way you're a Hinigami," he said.

Tobi looked to her and she sighed. She moved away from him and took Deidara by his good arm.

"Just let me finish fixing you up and we're done here. You're not my target," she said.

Deidara pulled away and she forced him to sit down. Her anger getting the best of her, she stitched quickly, Tobi watching in silence. Once she was finished, she packed up her things and moved to leave.

"Who is your target if not us?" Deidara asked, "Who could be more dangerous than us?"

"I'm looking for someone named Sasuke, Sasuke Uchiha," she said.

"You should meet up with Itachi and Kisame then. They're apart of our group. Head Southeast and you'll meet up with them, Itachi is that guys brother I heard," Deidara said, his tone more relaxed, tired even.

"Alright then, thanks," she said, heading south.

"Hey!" He called to her again and she turned, "Never did catch your name kid. What is it?"

"Hinigami, Emi Hinigami. You know, you're not so bad when you're not destroying things and killing people," she called back to them.

As she headed South she felt the band around her neck. She had to blend in better. She undid it and placed it in her back. She travelled for a few hours, only stopping in a remote town to rest. She got herself a room and headed to bed. Next door was a public bath house, meaning both genders were permitted. She had the idea of heading over in a bit.

She took a well deserved power nap and ate a meal before heading to the bath house. It was strange, it seemed like no one was there. The workers were quiet and a bit fearful. When she went to the bath, she noticed two figures hidden by the steam.

"Pardon my intrusion," she said, stepping inside, her towel around her body as she sank into the water. She took the wet bowl and placed it next to her on the edge of the bath.

The three were silent and the steam began to smear a bit, allowing her to notice that the two were possibly men. She felt a bit embarrassed but was glad they were quite the distance away. She subconsciously covered her breasts and crossed her legs. Her hair was pulled up in a high and kinky bun.

"No need to worry about us. We don't any much interest in such trivial things as sex," A voice spoke very smoothly from across the bath.

This man had long black hair and ebony eyes. Stress lines covered his face and he had his hair pulled back into a low ponytail. His friend, however, was much larger. He was a hulking blue mass. His hair was sharp, a navy blue and his eyes were an eerie silver. The markings on his face made him seem almost shark like.

"What he said kid," his voice was raspy, causing shivers to go down her spine.

"So what brings you to town?" She asked them. There was silence, "Um, can I at least ask your names? I'm Emi Hinigami."

"Kisame Hoshigaki, and my partner here is Itachi Uchiha," the blue man stated. Emi froze. She'd found them faster than what she would have preferred.
