EPISODE 27: Report Status

It's taken quite some time, but she's finally reached the village. Out of breath and rations, she'd taken the fastest route back. When she returned she headed straight to the Hokage's office. There she relayed all of the Sasuke related information to her. Once she was done, she was instructed to head the the medical ward for a physical.

She headed that way. It's felt like a storm cloud over her head every day she'd been gone from the group. However, they weren't her village. She had to have loyalty to her village. That's what mattered most. She met up with a doctor and she checked her over. Blood samples and samples of her Yokubo were taken. Emi developed a headache during this. She headed home after a few more tests. When she reached the door and entered, she turned the light on. It was cold. There was too much space.

She headed to her bed and laid down. It was so soft. Way better than the floor she'd slept on. Yet, there was no Jūgo warmth or stalking Sasuke. No wake up alarm from Karin would come in the morning. She gripped her sheets, a sickening heat falling over her face. There was a knock at her door. She was silent. Another knock. Then the door opened.

"Pardon the intrusion," it was a famikiar voice. She turned her head slightly to see Naruto.

"Hey, you're back. How are you?" He asked, crouching next to her bed. She was silent.

"You sure we're gone for a long time," Naruto added, "How about we get some barbeque later with everyone?" Still no response.

"Are you feeling okay?" He felt her head and she closed her eyes.

"I just have a lot on my mind," she finally responded.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" Naruto asked as she sat up.

"It's just... dumb stuff," she replied, her voice soft now.

"Well it isn't dumb if it's making you act like this," Naruto stated. She got up and went to walk past him, but he placed a hand on her arm.

"What happened while you were out there?" He asked.

"A lot," she gently pulled away from him and made her way to the kitchen

She opened a can and began eating food from it. Naruti went over and looked at her, just sitting there, eating. He left momentarily. A few hours had passed by and Emi slept soundly in her bed. She was awoken by a sudden shaking motion. She opened her eyes, her sight blurry at first.

"Naruto...?" She mumbled. Naruto had a wide grin on his face. Then she noticed another person, and another, and another. There were too many people in her apartment. She sat up and jumps don't of bed.

"I gathered some friends to help you feel better!" Naruto grinned.

Sakura, Ino, Hinata, Kiba, and Lee were in her apartment. She turned to Naruto.

"Why didn't you just let me sleep?" She exclaimed.

"I just thought these people could help make you feel better! I was just trying to be nice!" Naruto replied in defense, now a bit frightful of Emi.

"Naruto! Why didn't you tell us she was sleeping?" Sakura growled. Now he was cornered by two females.

"You don't just barge into people's houses like that! Don't you have any decency? Maybe she needed time before she was ready to talk!" Ino joined in. It was three against one, and the girls were winning.

Kiba plowed through the girls and dragged Naruto away, shielding him.

"Okay, I think he's had enough!" Kiba stated

"Anyways, just know we're here for you, okay Emi?" Sakura turned to her.

"Yeah. No matter what, well beat the cap out of who ever messes with you," Ino added.

"Miss Emi! I know we do not know each other as well as we could, but I am here as well to support you in your time of need!" Lee exclaimed.

"I... Fine..." Emi said. She put on a small smile and the all took seats. Some took chairs from the kitchen table and some took seats on the bed, and some people sat on the floor.

"So what's been bugging you?" Naruto asked.

"I'm not going to go into detail, but... maybe I made some friends, and maybe I miss them..." She began, "And maybe I had some experiences with some guys..."

"Oooh! We're they handsome? What were they like?" Ino gushed. Kiba and Naruto became visibly uncomfortable.
