Struggle she may,
Fight it she does,
Swatting the pain away,
Proud am I,
To have been able to know,
She's strong.
Conquering her trouble,
Just goes to show,
A hero she is,
For defeating sorrow's song.
A girl would hide in fright,
Only a woman can stand and fight.
She must face it alone,
Although I wish it weren't so.
She's braver than any I know.
Power within,
A wiser woman kin,
I cannot give her
The proper word.
She is worth so much more,
She is the one that should be adored.
Clever and quick,
Never one to give in,
A noble fortified soul,
Iron-like to withstand all.
Maybe, in time, I too,
Could earn this strength.
If she ever suffered,
I saw not a trace.
I look to her now,
As I never have before.
I would have aided her if I knew how.
How she fought for her own,
She has proven herself right,
She has proven herself fair.
