Monday: 7:00 am
I got a new job at an insurance company that is why I and Julie moved here. I did not expect to see Maggie here, but she is my past and I should only look forward not backward. I wore the suits Julie bought for me to wear. It was black and the t-shirt was white. Which is very normal for t-shirts to have.
The tie was in a very nice and complex pattern. It was blue and cute and I liked it more because Julie bought them for me. I remember the first suit Maggie bought for me. That was the first gift she ever bought for me so she did not know my size so it was to times bigger than me. Suddenly tears came from my eyes when I remembered all the time I spent with Maggie.
-why are you crying?
-what?
-why are you crying? Julie asked and came closer to me
-I'm not, I said with a slightly angry tone.
-You are crying! She shouted and looked straight at me
-I've never seen you crying...
-is something wrong?
-You didn't even cry when I proposed to you and you are crying now...
I could not answer her... how could I tell her that I'm crying because of my ex-wife?
-I'm not... I said coldly with a sharp tone and walked away from her.
I was astonished and my heart felt heavy. My tie was more to the left side so I adjusted it. I looked at myself in the mirror and something did not feel right.
-You're gonna be late! Julie shouted while looking at her watch.
-It is 7: 15.
she said and looked at me.
-are you not gonna go?
- I am, I said coldly and took my car key.
